On March 19th, the students and teachers at Futian International School were pleased to celebrate our yearly “International Day.”  This day is the culmination of many weeks of study and hard work.  Each grade from KG to G9 were assigned a country of interest.  Students were tasked with researching food, dress, music, culture, and geography.  

在3月19日，福田泰然学校的学生和老师很高兴地庆祝我们“国际日”。这一天也是许多周学习和努力工作的成果展示。KG-9每个年级都分配了一个他们感兴趣的国家。学生们的任务是研究该国在食物、衣服、音乐、文化和地理方面的情况和特点。

After a parade to introduce the music, dress and flags from the different countries, students and parents were invited to visit all the country booths on campus.  Everyone was delighted to taste the cuisine from around the world, and be educated by the students on all they had learned while preparing for this event.  The countries of the world that were represented are as follows:

活动首先从换装游行开始，之后学生和家长应邀访问每一个”国家“。 每个人都很高兴地品尝来自世界各地的美食，并聆听学生大使关于该国的介绍，了解他们在准备这次活动时所学到的一切。 出席会议的“世界各国”情况如下：

KG-France 法国

G1-Trinidad & Tobago 特立尼达和多巴共和国

G2- Madagascar 马达加斯加

G3- India 印度

G4- Thailand 泰国

G5- Belgium 比利时

G6A- Korea 韩国

G6B- England 英国

G7- Hawaii 夏威夷

G8- Argentina 阿根廷

At FIFA, every event is an opportunity to learn through real-world application of reading, writing, speaking and listening.  

在福田泰然学校，每一项活动都是一次PBL学习机会，与她们的真实生活相联系，帮助学生提升运用所学解决生活中实际问题的能力。

Congratulations to the students on a successful International Day and thank you to all the supportive parents who spent time with their children in preparing traditional dishes for all to share!

祝贺学生们举办了一个成功的国际日，同时感谢所有支持他们的父母，感谢家长们花时间和他们的孩子一起准备传统的菜肴，供大家分享！
