    It is generally believed that physical beauty refers to a person's appearance which is gracefully appealing to other; while inner beauty means a person's moral standard which constitutes a certain value to people.Beauty is what people admire.There is an old story about beauty in the history of China.

In the Spring and Autumn Period, there was a beauty in the State of Yue called Xishi. She often suffered from pains in her chest, and so she would often walk around and with her brows knitted. There was an ugly girl in the village called Dongshi who envied Xishi. She imitated her stoop and knitted her brows at the same time. She thought that this made her elegant, but in fact, it only made her more ugly.

  Many people regard appearance the most important.Today,as the development of technology,people can change their faces by doing plasic surgery to be like beautiful actresses. However, there are many cases of failure, even life-threatening. people pay special attentiaon on the outlooks,they want to look perfect.But as far as I am concerned ,the true beauty is nothing with perfect looking,only the inner beauty makes you shining.For example, Yang LAN, a famous Chinese TV host ,was invited to be the ambassador of Beijing's Bid for the 2008 Olympic Games. She is a model of quality women. She is beautiful, intelligent, elegant and intellectual, and has built a successful career.

    Physical beauty is by birth, but inner beauty is cultivated after birth. If we understand what real beauty is , just like Yang LAN，we can enrich ourselves with books to gain knowledge, or participate in all sorts of activities to gain self-confidence. In my opinion, a dazzling and confident smile comes from someone with inner beauty.
