为了丰富同学们的校园生活，营造和谐融洽的集体氛围，培养同学们的实践能力、自主活动能力，同时让同学们在紧张的学习生活之余感受大自然的美丽，徐州华顿国际学校国际高中部全体同学在老师的带领下，走进徐州潘安湖景区开展社会实践活动，感受自然之美。

In order to enrich the students' campus life and create a harmonious balance between studying and engaging in practical life experience, as well as giving them the opportunity to feel the beauty of nature in their busy study life, all students in the Senior High School Department of Walton International School Xuzhou went to Xuzhou’s Pan'an Lake to carry out practical activities and get in touch with nature.

十一月伊始，秋意正浓，正是出游的好时间。上午八点，同学们准时从学校乘车出发，前往我们的目的地。途中老师们向大家说明了活动的具体内容，也叮嘱了大家几点注意事项。同学们沐浴着温暖的阳光，呼吸着新鲜的空气，一路上欢声笑语来到潘安湖景区。

The beginning of November is a good time to travel. So, at eight o'clock in the morning, the students left school and journeyed to our destination. On the way the teachers explained the specific content of the activities and made sure that safety was paramount. Disembarking the coach, we were bathed in warm sunshine and began breathing in the fresh air.

园区内五彩缤纷的装饰、花香四溢的鲜花随处可见，优美的景色吸引了同学们的注意，大家争相在门口合影留念。老师们沿途引导大家观察、体验这个季节独有的景色，使同学们体验到了特别的乐趣。

The colorful decoration of the park, beautiful flowers and scenery attracted the attention of students, and they took pictures at the gate together. Teachers walked alongside students, guiding them to observe and experience the unique scenery of the season. Many more pictures were taken to remember this special experience.

在波光粼粼的湖面上，同学们乘船来到水镇，并以小组为单位自由活动。在活动过程中，老师们为大家精心安排了各种活动，并选出每组的组长，由组长带领组员完成各项比拼。在活动过程中，同学们互相合作，各尽其职，每个人都发挥了自己的聪明才智。整个活动过程都洋溢着同学们的欢声笑语，充满了欢乐的气氛。

On the shimmering lake, the students took a boat to the town and moved freely as a group. Before students were let loose to explore, teachers carefully arranged various activities for everyone, and group leaders were selected in order to compete against each other. During the activities, students cooperated with each other and contributed to their team by using their own skills and abilities - As the old saying goes “Two heads are better than one”. Laughter could be heard as students put their plans into action.

此次社会实践活动，让同学们充分地感受了大自然带来的轻松与惬意，也增加了班集体的凝聚力与和谐的气氛，使同学们的身心得到了很好的放松，更加专心地投入到下一阶段的学习中。相信此次活动会给同学们留下一份美好的回忆！

This practical activity has given students the opportunity to not only bond and relax, but also experience the joys of nature as well as learn about the importance of a work-life balance. After this trip, students felt mentally and physically refreshed, so that they can redouble their efforts for the upcoming challenges that lie ahead. I hope this outing left a good impression on students and they enjoyed being in the great outdoors!
