今年9月，哈罗横琴第一届高中正式开课。高中部的国际课程将对同学们的中英双语能力提出更高要求，对各学科知识需要具备更深层次理解与掌握，领航力特质的培养和塑造也更加全面。同时，大学升学乃至职业规划也将进入学生们人生发展的远眺视野。

A-Level预备课程是为了让已经完成初中教育（G9）的学生在一学年内快速做好准备而开发的，该课程提供全人教育，融合了人际发展、大学指导、英语语言学习、丰富的大类课程以及A-Level的基础课程。

A-level 预备课程为希望就读国际高中及赴海外求学的学生而设计，旨在赋予学生更多主动性，为进入世界顶尖大学的学习和生活做好准备。A-level 预备课程将帮助学生为成功完成 A-level 课程做好准备，并使他们具备适应国外生活的态度和能力。A-level 预备课程非常适合有英语基础、学习成绩良好并能顺利通过哈罗横琴入学评估的学生。
学校会安排基础课程，专门针对学习成绩优异但英语水平较差的学生。该课程要求学生从2024年二月份开始完成为期 6 个月的强化语言学习课程，重点是学习内容、辅导课程和以语言发展为重点的创造性课程。在成功完成基础课程后，学生就可以在当年 9 月份报名参加 A-level 预备课程。

In September this year, Harrow Hengqin's first High School officially opened its doors. The international programme in high school will place higher demands on students' bilingualism, deeper understanding and mastery of various academic subjects, and more comprehensive cultivation and shaping of leadership attributes. At the same time, the students will also be able to see further into their life development in terms of university education and even career planning.

Induction Programme Curriculum
The A-level Induction Programme curriculum is developed to rapidly prepare students who have completed their junior high education over an academic year by providing a holistic education that blends interpersonal development, university guidance,English language acquisition, an enriched broad curriculum, and foundation pathways for A-levels.

Who is the A-Level
Induction Programme for?
The A-level induction programme is designed for students who wish to study internationally and want to take a proactive approach to preparing not just for university entry but also for a successful transition into life abroad. The A-level induction programme will prepare students for success in A-levels,as well as equip them with the attitudes and aptitudes for life abroad.
The A-level induction programme is ideal for students who have a basic level of English, a good academic profile, and can successfully complete the Harrow Hengqin entrance assessments.

your current level of English?
There is also a foundation programme that caters to students who have an excellent academic track record but, as yet, a very low level of English. This requires students to complete a 6-month intensive language acquisition programme starting in February that focuses on accessing content, a scaffolded pastoral programme, and access to a creative curriculum focusing on language development. Upon successful completion of the extended programme, students will then be able to enroll in the A-level induction programme in September.
