The International Baccalaureate MYP (Middle Years Programme) utilizes concentric circles to depict its framework, with the student at the core. Encircling the learner, the rings represent essential components: Approaches to Learning, Global Contexts, Key Concepts, Service as Action, and Projects. These circles vividly illustrate the interdependence and interconnectedness of the MYP elements, emphasizing their collective role in nurturing holistic growth and international mindedness among MYP students. 

中学课程同时教授8个学科组来帮助学生建立全面理解。学科是语言文学（中文和英文）、语言习得（中文和英文）、个人和社会、数学、科学、体育和健康、设计、音乐-视觉艺术。 

The MYP curriculum has eight subject groups taught concurrently to develop holistic understanding among learners. The subjects are Language & Literature Chinese & English, Language Acquisition Chinese & English, Individuals & Societies, Mathematics, Sciences, Physical & Health Education, Design, and Music-Visual Arts.

Sias IS follows the MYP framework which is integrated with U.S Common Core Standards. All units planned on ManageBac must follow the MYP subject-specific objectives in alignment with U.S Common Core Standards to facilitate teaching, learning and assessments.

A tiered assessment system and grading are widely used in the MYP at Sias IS. Assessments in different subjects are used to evaluate the capabilities, acquisitions and development of each student.
