The curriculum of Lucton includes academic courses and co-curricular activities. The school offers IGCSE and A Level courses and follows the ethos of the whole-person education.

IGCSE subjects provided by Lucton include English as a First Language, English as a Second Language, Mathematics, Global Perspectives, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Business, Economics, Art and Design, Computer Science, Physical Education (PE), Design Technology, Chinese as a First Language, Chinese as a Second Language, Chinese as a Foreign Language, Psychology and so on.

A Level subjects provided by Lucton include English, English General, Chinese, Chinese Language, Global Perspectives, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Art and Design, Digital Media and Design, Biology, Design Technology, Physical Education (PE), Business, Computer Science, Psychology, Music, Drama, Modern Languages and so on.

Sufficient subjects allow students to choose according to their own circumstances, and also gives students the opportunity to discover the subject that they are good at. At the same time, Lucton also attaches great importance to hardware facilities, using movable and splicing desks in the classroom, which facilitates coordination with various classroom forms. Different disciplines are also equipped with corresponding experimental classrooms. For example, an art classroom is like an art studio, which is designed and transformed by an art teacher. There are a wide variety of machines in the DT (Design & Technology) classroom, including laser cutters, milling machines, hot wire cutters, small lathe machine and so on. The significance of experimental class is to verify the truth with actual practice rather than rote learning.

Co-curricular activities (CCA) are also fun, engaging students in arts, music, drama, science, languages, global perspectives, electronics, computer science, literature and so on. Students can choose according to their own interests and hobbies. CCAs are taught by academic teachers on campus or professionals off campus, so that students can get high-quality teaching without missing any opportunity to realize their dreams.

Lucton believes that academic achievement is not the whole judgment, follows whole person education, which involves developing the student's character, hobby, and physical fitness, and celebrates the unique abilities and talents of each individual.

因此，上海莱克顿学校非常重视体育教育，学生一星期共有10小时以上的体育运动课，涉及的项目也十分广泛，例如：篮球、足球、棒球、飞盘、网球、羽毛球、曲棍球、板球、游泳、瑜伽、击剑、跆拳道、空手道等。同时，莱克顿将马术、赛艇、高尔夫和帆船这四项列为必修项目，并且配备了专业的教练团队，满足了那些在运动过程中收获乐趣的学生，也满足那些拥有一定天赋，能进一步学习或参加相关比赛的学生。

Sports are regarded as an essential part of students’ lives in Lucton. There are more than 10 hours of exercise and activities each week, covering a wide range of subjects such as basketball, football, baseball, frisbee, tennis, badminton, hockey, netball, swimming, yoga, fencing, karate, taekwondo, etc. Among them, equestrian, rowing, golf and sailing are three compulsory sports, and equipped with a professional coaching team. They are British traditional sports in the elite education. Lucton continues to offer more choices in sports to fulfil the different interests of students, shaping their character, and fostering their creativity and community spirit.
