走过暮春时节迎来5月的初夏。近日，我们十三年级再次更新了预录取榜单，陆续又收到了共计5封来自伦敦大学学院、香港大学、伦敦国王学院以及顶级社科院校巴黎政治学院的世界高排名offer。佳音沓来，捺不住内心的欣慰，在此和大家更新分享。

巴黎政治学院的录取通知

巴黎政治学院是一所1872年建立，位于巴黎市中心的世界顶尖社科类大学。巴黎政治学院的学科建设以政治学为中心，兼具历史学、法学、经济学和社会学，政治学科连续6年仅次于哈佛大学，位列世界第二。因其培养了法国70%的政治家、80%的企业管理者而享誉欧洲乃至全世界，被誉为“法国社会精英的摇篮”，贡献了数量惊人的世界领导人和诺贝尔奖得主。至今共培养了29位法国和法语系国家的总统及总理（如前总统希拉克，奥朗德和现任总统马克龙）。知名校友遍布世界各地各个领域包括联合国秘书长加利，4位国际货币基金组织总裁，现代奥林匹克之父顾拜旦等等。

The Paris Institute of Political Studies commonly called Sciences Po in French, is one of the world's leading social science universities, established in 1872 and located in Paris. It is known as the "cradle of the French social elite" and has produced a staggering number of world leaders and Nobel Prize winners. Sciences Po maintains its worldwide second place in Politics, placing behind Harvard University and ahead of Oxford in QS ranking.

Steven被巴黎政治学院无条件录取，而其政治专业更是王牌专业，在最新的QS世界大学学科排名第二。值得一提的是，Steven在4月就已经获得了来自伦敦政治经济学院（LSE）政治与哲学专业预录取，此专业在QS世界大学学科排名第四。巴黎政治学院与伦敦政治经济学院是社科领域两大顶级名校，于理科生而言就好比麻省理工与加州理工。这两所学院学科建设以政治学为中心，兼具历史学、法学、经济学和社会学。在校园社区和更广泛的合作方面，两所学院都具有高度的国际性。

Steven将政治学专业视为理想专业，不断冲击和突破自己的可能性。除了这两所院校，他还已获得如伦敦大学学院（UCL）和多伦多大学等多封预录取和奖学金录取，着实让人感叹梦想昭昭，其心赤诚，未来可期。

Steven was admitted unconditionally to Sciences Po to major in Politics, ranked second in the 2022 QS World Subject Rankings. It is worth mentioning that Steven has already received a pre-offer from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in April to major in Politics and Philosophy, which is ranked fourth in the 2022 QS World Subject Rankings. He also got offers or with scholarship from other schools such as UCL and University of Toronto. Steven saw political science as the ideal major, and he persevered on his path to become an opinion leader in his future life. 

同样，对经济学情有独钟的Sue同学，也在最近获得了香港大学（HKU）与伦敦国王学院（KCL）经济学专业的预录取。香港大学在亚洲的学术与经济地位卓然，经济专业名列世界前茅，吸引着世界各国的学子慕名前往。2022年赴港升学的热度呈上升趋势，香港高校愈发受到内地高校毕业生的青睐，申请难度愈发增加。双城学业生活将让她体验到两地不同的校园文化，投身切实的社会氛围中。Sue为学弟学妹们选择大学的分岔路口开拓出另一片区域的可能性。

星光不负追梦人，莱克顿的创校生之一Sean同学近日同样收获了伦敦大学学院（UCL）的计算机科学专业预录取。在校的四年里，他一直对计算机科学及编程有着浓厚兴趣，创建了学生会官网，负责地不断对网站进行升级和维护，还参与各项学生会事务中，赢得多项荣誉和奖项，更是运用自己的能力为同学们、老师们提供实际帮助。而他在计算机领域表现出潜力，让他已囊获了布里斯托大学、南安普顿大学和墨尔本大学预录取。

创校生之一的Nathan同学也收获了伦敦国王学院（KCL）会计与金融专业的预录取通知书。 KCL作为英国历史悠久的老牌罗素集团大学，诞生了许多诺贝尔奖得主与世界政商名流。历年来，KCL的会计与金融专业一直受到国际生的偏爱，竞争激烈可见一斑。这位曾经的学生会财务主管，将梦校和理想专业一起拥入怀中，是他实力和信念的最好证明。

Sue F, who has a passion for economics and has recently been accepted to the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and King's College London (KCL). HKU has a strong academic and economic position in Asia and ranks among the best in the world in economics, attracting students from all over the world. The trend is on the rise, with Hong Kong universities becoming more and more popular with graduates from mainland universities and making it more and more difficult to apply. 

Sean X received an offer to study Computing at University College London (UCL). During his four years at Lucton, he has always been showing strong interest in computer science and programming. He has created the Student Leadership Team website and has been responsible for its constant upgrading and maintenance, as well as participating in various students affairs, winning many awards and prizes, and using his abilities to provide practical help to his fellow students and teachers. He has shown potential in the field of computer science and has also been accepted by the University of Bristol, the University of Southampton and the University of Melbourne.

Nathan G received an offer to King's College London (KCL) to study Accounting and Finance. As a long-established Russell Group university in the UK, KCL has been home to many Nobel Prize winners and world-renowned politicians and businessmen. Over the years, KCL's Accounting and Finance program has been favoured by international students. This former Treasurer in Lucton Student Leadership Team has embraced his dream school and his ideal major together is the best proof of his strength and conviction.

2022届大学申请结果陆续公布，莱克顿十三年级的21位准毕业生，纷纷收到了来自其目标院校的橄榄枝，共计73封预录取通知书，其中7封来自英国G5超级精英大学的预录取，为我们的老师和同学们带来了成功的喜悦和肯定。

The good news keeps on coming for our Class of 2022. 21 graduates in Year 13 have received a total of 73 pre-offers from their target schools, including 7 offers from G5 universities in the UK.

本届准毕业生的升学方向主流依旧为英国，也不乏美国、加拿大、日本、法国、澳大利亚等国家。以上是上海莱克顿学校本届准毕业生至今所取得的大学录取情况，除艺术专业学生，收到录取通知书的学生中，34%的学生获得了QS世界排名前十和英国G5大学的预录取，足六成的学生获得了世界排名前三十的大学预录取。

The distribution this year is still mainly in UK, but also the USA, Canada, Japan, France, Australia and other countries. Except for the art students, 34% of the students who received offers were accepted by global top 10 universities and G5 universities, and 60% of them were accepted by global top 30 universities.

Students also have applied in a wide variety of target majors, ranging from science, business studies, economics, social sciences, engineering, accounting and finance, education, media, psychology, business management computer science, pharmacy, and civil engineering. In the art and design direction, Lucton students received offers from prestigious art schools around the world, such as Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute of Art, New York School of Visual Arts, Maryland Institute College of Art, University of the Arts London, etc., including graphic design, fashion design, pure art, illustration, animation, etc. All students in the art and design direction received offers in global top 100 universities, 80% of them received offers from global top 10 universities in the art and design.
