2023年，上海美达菲获得国际青年成就奖——爱丁堡公爵国际奖（The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award）官方授权，正式成为该奖项在中国的独立运营中心之一。

(户外探索活动记录)

<10年级 李雨桐>

第一天对于我来说是最艰难的。我和很多同学在此之前并没有参加过如此高强度的户外活动，并且我本身身体素质不算太好。当在山路上行走了600米时，我感觉我的体力已经消耗大半，并且出现了强烈的想放弃的感觉。当我情绪崩溃想放弃的时候，我的领队没有给我这个机会，而是让我放慢节奏。当终于到达终点时，我感觉非常有成就感。

The first day was the hardest for me. Many of my classmates and I have not participated in such high-intensity outdoor activities before, and physically I’m not very strong. When walking 600 meters on the mountain road, I felt that my physical strength had been exhausted, and there was a strong feeling of giving up. When I broke down and wanted to give up, my team leader didn't give me the chance, but told me to slow down. When I finally reached the destination, I felt a great sense of accomplishment.

第二三天时我已经大概适应了山里的环境，也对每天要完成的任务有了认知。所以在徒步开始的时候我也有了准备。但是不可避免地，在徒步进行到后期的时候我也出现了负面情绪。第三天的行进路程在海拔500-700米的山上，路途中出现了许多大型蜘蛛。我和我的队友都非常怕虫子所以第三天的路途并不是非常愉快。但第三天的营地很漂亮我们也得到了休息。

The second and third days I had roughly adapted to the environment in the mountains and had an understanding of the tasks to be completed every day. So I was prepared at the beginning of the hike. But inevitably, I had negative feelings towards the end of the hike. The third day of the march was 500-700 meters above sea level, and many large spiders appeared along the way. My teammates and I were very afraid of bugs, so the third day was not very pleasant. But the camp site was beautiful and we got some rest.

第四天！最后一天的路程7公里，与前几天对比算短。但在最后两公里时我们遇到了很多困难。在海拔低的区域湿度大，所以林中虫子非常多。我的手臂上布满了虫子叮咬的痕迹和湿疹。期间一小段路处于河床之中，溪水未完全干涸。从一块大石头上跳下来时，我被苔藓滑倒从而摔进了水坑，裤子和鞋子都沾上了泥巴和水。冰冷的脏水贴在身上我感到很难受。但既然坚持了这么久这点困难也不算什么了。通过河床后，我们很快到达了终点。到达的那一刻我的心情无比愉悦。我为自己克服这么多困难而自豪。

The fourth day！The last day's walk was 7 kilometers, which was relatively short compared to the previous days. But we had a lot of difficulties in the last two kilometers. Humidity is high in low altitude areas, so there are a lot of insects in the forest. My arms are covered with bug bites and eczema. A small div of the road was in the riverbed and the stream was not completely dry. When I jumped off a large rock, I slipped on moss and fell into a puddle, with mud and water on my pants and shoes. I felt uncomfortable with the cold, dirty water clinging to my body. But that's not a big deal after all this time. After passing through the river bed, we soon reached the end. The moment I arrived I felt ecstatic. I was proud of myself for overcoming so many difficulties.

这几天的旅程快乐而痛苦。我的身体很痛苦但我的心很快乐。返程的时候我感觉自己已经和来时完全不一样了。

The journey was both happy and painful during those days. My body was in pain but my heart was filled with joy. When I came back, I felt completely different.

作为一位老师，经常无法接受孩子犯错，当他们犯了错就会经常急于帮孩子兜底/为他们找解决措施。但是经过这次的户外探索，我自己也获得了成长，心态放平，用平常心对待并接受孩子们的错误，因为犯错误也是孩子们成长的必修课。

As a teacher, it is always difficult to accept children’s mistakes, so when they make mistakes, more than often, I will rush to help or find solutions for them. However, after this outdoor exploration, I have also growed up. I learned to treat and accept children's mistakes with a relaxed and peaceful mind, because making mistakes is also a compulsory course for children's growth.

就如，事先已经通知了孩子们带好备用鞋，但是有的孩子还是没有按照要求带，在徒步第一天就弄脏了鞋子。照着以往的自己，我定是又气他们不听话又心疼他们，会着急给他们想办法，但是在野外这样的环境，我也没有其他解决方案的情况下，我也学习接受他们错误，学习让他们自己承担自己犯错的后果。相信最后不得不穿一天湿鞋子徒步的他们肯定也从自己这次的错误中受益颇多。

For example, the children had been informed in advance to bring a pair of spare shoes, but some children still forgot to bring as required, and stained their shoes on the first day of hiking. If it happened in the past, I must have been angry with them for not listening, feeling pitiful the same time and anxious to find a way for them, but in the wild environment where I had no other solutions, I learned to accept their mistakes and let them bear the consequences of their mistakes themselves. I believe, having to wear wet shoes for a day of hiking eventually, they will also benefit a lot from their mistake.

这就是爱丁堡公爵奖的魅力，参与其中的每个人，不管是老师/同学还是后方支援的家长，都从其中收获了成长。相信这次宝贵的爱奖经历会让同学们受益终生，成为他们成长道路上不断向前的动力！

This is right the charm of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Everyone involved, from teachers, classmates to supportive parents, has achieved growth from it. I believe that this precious experience of Edingburg Award will benefit students for a lifetime and become a driving force for their growth!

按照爱奖的要求，除户外探索，学生还需要分别在技能学习、体育锻炼和社会服务三个项目上确立自我挑战的目标，铜奖需要持续半年的时间达成，完成后会被授予相应奖项。恭喜以下几位同学顺利完成本次户外探索并完满通过考核：

According to the requirements of the Edinburgh Award, students also need to establish self-challenging goals in the three projects of skill learning, physical exercise and social service in addition to outdoor exploration,. It takes half a year to achieve the bronze award, and the corresponding award will be granted after completion. Congratulations to the students who successfully completed this outdoor exploration and passed the examination:
