戏剧之美:全球化下的戏剧


全球化渗透进生活的方方面面。那么,在戏剧中,又是如何体现的呢?戏剧融合组展开了为期五天的探索。

Globalization permeates every aspect of life. So, how does it manifest in theater? The Theater Integration Group embarked on a five-day exploration.

11月13日

小组同学们在集合后积极迅速进入状态,集中讨论了戏剧全球化的研究角度,如戏剧中展现的不同文化的融合与交流,现代剧院技术与设备如何体现戏剧全球化等,并分组进行资料搜集和采访策划。

November 13th: 

The group of classmates quickly got into the groove after gathering and actively engaged in discussions on the research perspectives of theatrical globalization. They explored topics such as the fusion and exchange of different cultures depicted in theater, the manifestation of modern theater technology and equipment in theatrical globalization, and divided into groups for data collection and interview planning.


11月14日:

下午,戏剧组的全体同学来到了上海大剧院进行参观和学习。在项目经理的带领下,同学们浏览了剧院的介绍册,了解了上海大剧院的历史。馆内的部份建筑使用了国外的材料,设计则来自法国。随后,参观了大剧院的剧场,在询问与介绍中得知一些剧院的现状,了解到了舞台和剧场的结构以及其构造的原因。站在舞台前,同学们感叹前后长为50米,地上高为10层楼的演出舞台是多么宽阔。站上舞台,便能体验到演员的视角。走出剧场,走过一面面大师墙,项目经理详细介绍了一些有关全球化的戏剧剧目,这为同学们拍摄的纪录片提供了宝贵的素材。最后,采访组与拍摄组的同学们和项目经理深入探讨了全球化为戏剧行业带来的影响和未来的展望,收获颇多。

November 14th: 

In the afternoon, all the students from the theater group visited the Shanghai Grand Theatre for observation and learning. Led by the project manager, they browsed through the theater's brochure and learned about the history of the Shanghai Grand Theatre. Some parts of the building used foreign materials, while the design originated from France. Subsequently, they visited the theater's auditorium and learned about its current state through inquiries and introductions. They discovered the structure and construction reasons behind the stage and theater. Standing in front of the stage, the students marveled at the vastness of the performance stage, which stretched 50 meters from front to back and stood as high as 10 floors. Stepping onto the stage, they could experience the perspective of the actors. Exiting the theater, they passed by a wall of masters, where the project manager provided detailed information on theatrical productions related to globalization, providing valuable material for the students' documentary filming. Finally, the students from the interview and filming groups had in-depth discussions with the project manager on the impact of globalization on the theater industry and its future prospects, gaining a lot of insights.

11月15日:

吴老师、王同学、叶同学和梁同学走访了上海戏剧学院和上海音乐学院。为了更深入的了解戏剧的跨文化和全球化这一概念,她们分别邀请了上海戏剧学院艺术管理专业的研究生、上海戏剧学院跨文化学科的研究生和上海音乐学院音乐剧表演的本科生,并对她们进行了深度专访。在面对戏剧行业全球化的相关问题,这些被采访对象不仅从专业出发,讲述了许多知识和理论,还从戏剧消费者、戏剧学者和戏剧表演者等角色本身出发,表达了个体的独特感悟。虽然是劳累奔波的一天,但是这一天的体验和感受都难能可贵。

November 15th: 

Ms.Wu, Martina, Carrie, and Olga visited the Shanghai Theatre Academy and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. To gain a deeper understanding of the cross-cultural and global aspects of theater, they respectively invited graduate students specializing in arts management at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, graduate students in the intercultural discipline at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, and undergraduate students studying musical theater performance at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music for in-depth interviews. Faced with questions related to the globalization of the theater industry, these interviewees not only shared a wealth of knowledge and theories from a professional standpoint but also expressed their unique insights as theater consumers, scholars, and performers. Although it was a tiring and busy day, the experiences and feelings gained were invaluable.

11月16日:

伴着渐寒的秋风,戏剧老师雅芝带领王同学与梁同学前往前滩拜访京剧老师彭老师。彭老师目前正在上海惠灵顿国际学校教授京剧及昆曲。此番前往,同学们主要想从彭老师作为传播者和教育者两方面进行跨文化主题相关的采访。彭老师热情地分享了自己的艺术历程和在推广中国戏曲面临的困难,如何将京剧与现代元素结合,并强调了在双语教育背景下的学生对文化传播的重要性。彭老师还讲述了自己从表演者转为教育者的转变,以及对于舞台的深切怀念。她提倡培养优秀的演员和观众来形成京剧的良性传承,这样才能更好地将中国传统戏曲发展下去。晚上,16周岁以上的小组成员还共同前往麦金侬酒店体验了沉浸式戏剧《不眠之夜》。在引入上海时,主创在《不眠之夜》加入了特色支线剧情《白蛇传》,使其充满20世纪30年代的上海风情,以此与中国观众产生更好的连结。

November 16th: 

Accompanied by the gradually chilly autumn wind, theatre teacher Yazhi led Martina and Olga visit Beijing Opera Ms.Peng at foreshore. Ms.Peng is currently teaching Beijing Opera and Kunqu at the Wellington College International Shanghai. During this visit, the students mainly sought interviews with Ms.Peng as a disseminator and educator on cross-cultural topics. Ms.Peng enthusiastically shared her artistic journey and the difficulties she faced in promoting Chinese traditional opera. She discussed how to integrate Peking Opera with modern elements and emphasized the importance of cultural communication for students in a bilingual education background. Ms.Peng also mentioned her transition from performer to educator and her deep nostalgia for the stage. She advocated for cultivating excellent actors and audiences to ensure the healthy inheritance of Peking Opera and the further development of Chinese traditional opera. In the evening, the group members above the age of 16 went together to experience the immersive theatre production "Sleep No More" at the McKinnon Hotel. When introducing the work to Shanghai, creator group added a distinctive subplot called "The Legend of the White Snake" to the play, making it full of the charm of 1930s Shanghai, in order to establish a stronger connection with Chinese audiences.

11月17日:

在经过前面四天的不懈努力和辛勤付出后,终于迎来了汇报日,这是小组成员展示成果的重要时刻。剪辑组展现出非凡的团队合作和协调能力,以高效的执行力和敏锐的洞察力,迅速将素材拼接在一起,打磨出一段流畅自然、引人入胜的纪录片。

November 17th: 

After four days of relentless effort and hard work, the day of presentation finally arrived, marking an important moment for the group members to showcase their achievements. The editing team demonstrated extraordinary teamwork and coordination. With efficient execution and keen insight, they quickly assembled the materials and polished them into a smooth, captivating documentary.


这次项目成功的背后,是每个人的付出和团队的默契。同学们相互支持、相互鼓励,共同克服了种种困难和挑战,展现了团结合作的精神。在这个过程中,同学们不仅提升了专业技能,也培养了解决问题的能力。

Behind the success of this project lies the dedication of each individual and the synergy of the team. The students supported and encouraged each other, overcoming various difficulties and challenges, showcasing the spirit of unity and cooperation. Throughout this process, the students not only improved their professional skills but also developed problem-solving abilities.
