北辰论坛 North Star Forum|聆听学生心声,塑造校园未来

“为政以德,譬如北辰,居其所而众星共之。” 旨在让宏润博源的同学们更多地参与到社区建设中来,通过提案,更好地建设属于同学们的校园社区的“北辰论坛”因此得名。2024年1月8日下午CAS时间,宏润博源第六届北辰论坛在礼堂顺利举行。论坛上,学生代表提出了多项改进建议,这些提案不仅反映了学生对日常生活细节的深刻理解,也显示了他们对校园环境改善的积极态度。

"The governance based on virtue is like the North Star, staying in its place while the multitude of stars revolve around it." The "North Star Forum" was named with the intention of encouraging students to participate more in community development and to better construct a campus community that belongs to the students through their proposals. On the afternoon of January 8, 2024 CAS time, the North Star Forum was successfully held in the auditorium. During the forum, student representatives put forward a number of improvement suggestions. These proposals reflected students' deep understanding of daily life details, moreover demonstrated their positive attitudes towards campus environment improvement.



在学生会副主席张同学和学生会秘书长楼同学的主持下,七位同学带着自己发现的学校发展中存在的问题以及可能的解决方案走上舞台,与全校师生共同讨论。

Under the hosting of Ken, student representative from the Associated Student Board, and Jenny, Secretary of the Associated Student Board, seven students took the stage with the problems they discovered in the school's development and possible solutions, engaging in discussions with the entire school's faculty and students.

首先上台的是来自义工部的林同学和姜同学,她们总结了学校快递收发的问题,并提出了详细的改进方案。快递已经成为日常生活中密不可分的一部分,拿放快递的便捷和环境就显得重要。因此她们提出:扩大快递室面积,并改成密闭空间,以提供夏季无蚊虫雨季不潮湿的环境。快递存放处需要维护,她们也提议,义工部定期招收义工进行清洁,让同学共同建设、维护校园。

The first to take the stage were Aria and Claire, students from the Volunteer Department, who summarized the issues with express delivery in the school and proposed detailed improvement plans. Express delivery has become an integral part of daily life, and the convenience and environment of receiving and storing deliveries are important. Therefore, they proposed expanding the size of the delivery room and turning it into an enclosed space to provide a non-mosquito and non-damp environment in the summer. The storage area for deliveries needs maintenance, and they also suggested that the Volunteer Department regularly recruit volunteers for cleaning, allowing students to jointly build and maintain the campus.

接着,张同学提出预备年级深夜自习的申请问题。他提出改进方案:针对正常选课的预备年级同学实施临时深夜自习的申请机制,教务处开具具备申请深夜晚自习条件的同学名单,供学生处参考。这能够帮助到作业未完成但ddl火烧眉毛的一部分同学能够有机会力挽狂澜。但也同时考虑到了会有同学申请只是为了娱乐,所以他提出,让老师巡逻并提醒吵闹的同学,加严看管,利用Powerschool系统进行考勤。

Coming next, Sammy raised the issue of late-night study applications for preparatory grades. He proposed an improvement plan: implementing a temporary late-night study application mechanism for preparatory grade students who are taking regular classes, while the Academic Affairs Office would provide a list of students who meet the conditions for applying for late-night study, for the Student Affairs Office's reference. This would help some students who have unfinished assignments but are pressed for time to have a chance to catch up. He also considered that some students might apply for late-night study just for entertainment purposes, so he suggested having teachers patrol and remind noisy students, tighten supervision, and use the Powerschool system for attendance.

之后,吴同学和池同学提出廊房自习改进方案。光线不足、廊房位置不便、冬天外出答疑过于寒冷……这些问题的根源在于廊房地点和环境的特殊,他们提出,将廊坊晚自习的同学们迁至教学楼,既距离厕所和 locker更近,答疑也会更方便,并且不需要额外的成本。

Ella and Jiaxin then represented the corridor improvement project, proposed their enhancement plan. Insufficient lighting, inconvenient location of the corridors, difficulties in getting academic help in winter... These problems stem from the unique location and environment of the corridors. They proposed relocating students who study in the corridors to the teaching building, which would be closer to toilets and lockers, making it more convenient for academic assistance, and without incurring additional costs.

吴同学代表信息部抛出许多对礼堂的改进方案。其中他认为最值得关注的是安全问题。后台灯光调度台的爬梯过于狭窄、上下不便,需要更换或扩建。他认为,舞台表演若要达到更好的效果,需要购买灯光设备和音响设备,灯光和音响的质量均有提高的空间。

Michael, representing the Information Department, presented many improvement plans for the auditorium. Among them, he considered safety issues to be the most important. The ladder to the backstage lighting control platform is too narrow and inconvenient for going up and down, so it needs to be replaced or expanded. He believes that in order to achieve better stage performance, it is necessary to purchase lighting and audio equipment, with room for improvement in the quality of both lighting and sound.

最后,吴同学、池同学和王同学同学提出宿舍硬件改进方案。储物空间过小、桌子锁扣伤手、不遮光的窗帘……这些细节只有长期亲历才能体会到的细节终于被她们带上台面。还有一个问题被她们深切概括“上铺撒哈拉,下铺南北极”——上下铺的温差如何解决?她们提出,在每个宿舍的空调上安装挡⻛板,并且给出了具体的执行成本。她们还提出了更换窗帘和拆除抽屉中的铁片等建议,引起了全场同学热烈的讨论。

At last, Ella, Jiaxin, and Martina proposed hardware improvement plans for the dormitories. Issues such as insufficient storage space, uncomfortable table locks, and non-light-blocking curtains... These details, which can only be experienced in the long term, were finally brought to the forefront by them. They also highlighted a problem summed up as "upper bunk Sahara Desert, lower bunk North and South Poles" - how to solve the temperature difference between the upper and lower bunks? They proposed installing wind blockers on the air conditioners in each dormitory, and gave specific cost estimates for implementation. They also suggested replacing curtains and removing iron sheets from drawers, sparking enthusiastic discussions among the students.


通过北辰论坛这一平台,同学们不仅提出切实可行的改善方案,也展现出对校园环境和共同体的责任感。学校对于这些富有洞见的提案表示高度赞赏,并承诺在未来的全校集会中给予详细的回应。北辰论坛不仅加强了师生间的沟通与理解,也为校园的持续发展和共创文化注入了新的活力,展现了宏润博源共创精神的生动实践。

Through the North Star Forum, students not only put forward feasible improvement plans, furthermore demonstrated a sense of responsibility towards the campus environment and community. The school highly appreciates these insightful proposals and promises to provide detailed responses in future school assemblies. North Star Forum strengthens communication and understanding between teachers and students, as well injects new vitality into the continuous development and co-creation culture of the campus, showcasing the vibrant practice of SHBS's co-creation spirit.
