Infinite Game
詹姆斯·卡斯（James P. Carse）教授1986年第一次从哲学上区分了世界上的这两种游戏：有限游戏以取胜为目的，而无限游戏以延续为目的。Shirley老师以越南战争、抗日战争、冷战为例，向大家介绍分享了这一概念，并引导鼓励同学们形成“无限思维”的思维模式，即拥抱变革与可能性，聚焦于开放而非封闭的力量。
Professor James P. Carse first made a philosophical distinction in 1986 between these two kinds of games in the world: finite games aim at winning, and infinite games aim at continuation. Taking the Vietnam War, the Anti-Japanese War and the Cold War as examples, teacher Shirley introduced and shared this concept, and guided and encouraged students to develop a mindset of "infinite thinking", that is, embracing changes and possibilities, focusing on the power of openness rather than closure.

Will you have children? (Fertility Rate)
今天的学生分享由两位美高毕业生Anthea、Judy带来；她们讨论的话题也是当下很多年轻人关注的热点——生育率。
Today's student sharing was brought by two US Program graduates, Anthea and Judy; the topic they discussed is also a hot spot that many young people are concerned about today - fertility rate.
近几年，低生育率似乎已成为一个众所周知的话题，两位主持人开篇即指出，根据国家统计局发布的数据，中国出生人口从2018年开始呈下降趋势，最近两年全国人口出生率更是跌破10‰。2021年全国出生人口1062万，创下近年来新低。
In recent years, low fertility rate seems to have become a well-known topic. The two hosts pointed out at the beginning that according to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, the birth population in China has been on a downward trend since 2018, and the national birth rate in the past two years even fell below 10‰. In 2021, the national birth population was 10.62 million, hitting a new low in recent years.
当下年轻人为什么不愿意生育，怎样提高生育率？两位同学从85后这个年龄层切入，用网络搜索、在身边发起小调查的方式，做出了自己的探讨分享。
Why are young people reluctant to have children today, and how to increase the fertility rate? The two students shared their exploration from the post-85 age group, using internet searches and launching small surveys around them.
她们先简述了“低生育率意味着什么”：人口结构严重失调，人口老龄化问题突出。
The two students first briefly described "what low birth rate means": the population structure is seriously imbalanced, and the problem of population aging is prominent.
然后，通过分析网上相关的统计调查，她们谈到“85后不愿意生育的原因”。其中排在前三名的原因分别是没钱、害怕没有个人时间、损害女性健康。两位同学还注意到，在“伴侣不靠谱”和“影响女性健康”这两个选项中，男女产生较大分歧：绝大部分男性没有选择这两个选项。
Then, by analyzing relevant statistical surveys on the Internet, they talked about "the reasons why post-85s are reluctant to have children". The top three reasons are lack of money, fear of lack of personal time, and of damage to women's health. They also noticed that the two options of "unreliable partner" and "affecting women's health" were more divided between men and women: the vast majority of men did not choose these two options.
难能可贵的是，针对这些原因，两位同学进一步生发思考，提出了一些有意思、值得探讨的问题，比如“为什么现在人天天工作赚钱却觉得还是没钱养孩子”。
What is remarkable is that in response to these reasons, the two students further developed their thinking and raised some interesting and worthwhile questions, such as "why do people nowadays work every day to earn money but still feel that they cannot afford to raise their children".
她们还通过在朋友圈内发布问卷的形式，对周围人的生育意愿做了调查和数据分析。
They also conducted surveys and data analysis on the fertility intentions of the people around them by publishing questionnaires in Wechat Moments.

人口出生率下降是社会关注度居高不下的问题。很高兴看到，我们的零零后同学们，也在关心和思考这些话题；没有因网上的观点“人云亦云”，而能从身边人入手，通过亲身实践调查提出自己的见解。
The declining birth rate is an issue of great concern to society. We’re glad to see that our post-00s are also concerned and thinking about these issues. Rather than just following the opinions of the Internet, the two hosts today were able to start with the people around them and put forward their own opinions through hands-on research.
