恭喜薄雅匀同学（P3B）在上个月举行的龙华区教育系统“红领巾心向党∙党史故事我来讲”讲述英雄故事比赛中，荣获二等奖。
薄雅匀在6月9日的比赛中朗诵了一首诗《我骄傲，我是中国人》，四分钟，以此献礼中国共产党建党100周年。她慷慨激昂的朗诵表达了作为中国人的骄傲与自豪！
《我骄傲，我是中国人》
在无数蓝色的眼睛和褐色的眼睛之中，
我有着一双宝石般的黑色眼睛，
我骄傲，我是中国人！
在无数白色的皮肤和黑色的皮肤之中，
我有着大地般黄色的皮肤，
我骄傲，我是中国人!
下面是薄雅匀和罗兹副校长、刘飞鹏副校长及大队辅导员方音卓老师的合影。
本学期初起，方老师不辞辛苦地着手准备创建学校少先队的工作。感谢方老师的努力付出，她的辛勤指导让少先队员们更好地学会了如何规范行为、礼貌待人。薄雅匀是柏朗思少先队员中表现最突出的孩子之一。她获得的二等奖也是个人不懈努力的结果。
我是中国人——
黄土高原是我挺起的胸脯，
黄河流水是我沸腾的热血，
长城是我扬起的手臂，
泰山是我站立的脚跟。
我骄傲我是中国人。
P3B的宋泽睿同学也作为学校少先队员代表参加了该赛事。宋泽睿还在全体小学低段活动时讲述了他的故事，给大家留下了深刻的印象。

我们期待下个学年少先队活动更加丰富多彩。

Emily Bo (P3B) received her second place award for the Longhua District Education Bureau, Shenzhen ‘Young Pioneer-CPC history story’ competition that took place last month.
Emily spoke for 4 minutes, celebrating 100 years of the red scarf and the CPC at the competition on June 9th. Her chosen poem “I’m Proud, I’m Chinese” was delivered superbly, full of pride and passion.
I am proud, I am Chinese.
Among countless blue eyes
and brown eyes,
I have black eyes like jewels,
I am proud, I am Chinese!
Among countless white skins
and black skins,
I have earthy yellow skin,
I am proud, I am Chinese!
Emily is pictured below with Mr Rhodes (Deputy Head), Ms Liu (Deputy Head),Ms Flora Fang who is the Young Pioneer Tutor.
At the start of this semester Ms Fang worked very hard in establishing the Young Pioneers at Bromsgrove School, Mission Hills. We are grateful for Ms Fang’s dedication to this program. Her dedication has helped all the YP students to develop as disciplined, kind young people. Emily is one of our most accomplished YP members at BMH. Her second place award is testament to her individual hard work.
I am Chinese
The Loess Plateau is
my chest,
The water of the Yellow River is my boiling blood,
The Great Wall is
my raised arm,
Taishan Mountain is
the heel on which I stand.
I am proud that I am Chinese.
Jimmy Song P3B also attended this event as the school’s other YP representative. Jimmy had also impressed at school when he performed his words to the whole of the Prep Juniors.
Once again well done Emily and Ms Flora.
We look forward to more Young Pioneer developments next year.
