在没有去华大基因之前，它在学生心里是陌生的，是神秘的。课本上基因定义到底意味着什么？一串DNA如何成长或者遗传？生命是如何诞生的？带着思考和探索，学生们走进国际基因库，来一场解读生命的奥妙研学实践。

学生依次观看国家基因库的宣传片，在华大展厅参观听讲解，这些体验将学生们课本上的文字搬到眼前，让现实走进多彩课堂。

在参观博物馆后，同学们还参观了华大基因计划对地球上每一种生物的基因组进行测序的实验室。同学们积极地与在场的专家进行沟通，表达自己的观点，深入了解了未来可能发展的职业道路。

Founded in 1999, BGI is the world's leading frontier institution in life sciences, covering more than 100 countries and regions around the world. Other goals of BGI include basic research on human, plant, animal, and microbial species, as well as clinical research to extend human lifespan, drug discovery and partnering with agriculture to provide a sustainable future for all species living on our planet.

Before going to BGI, it was unfamiliar and mysterious to students. What exactly does the definition of genes in textbooks mean? How is a strand of DNA grown or inherited? How was life born? With thinking and exploration, the students walked into the BGI, and start the research journey in life sciences.

The students watched the promotional video of the BGI and had an in-depth tour of the exhibition hall. These experiences brought the knowledge of students' textbooks to the front and brought reality into colorful classrooms.

After visiting the museum, the students also visited the BGI laboratory where the genome of every living thing on earth is sequenced! The students actively communicated with the experts and expressed their opinions. The students are very happy to have an in-depth understanding of possible future career paths.

NAS Shenzhen actively provides students with opportunities to study abroad and explore careers. NAS Shenzhen will endeavour to implement a "mobile classroom" in the future, allowing our students to learn from the world, and constantly practice our 3R values.
