王湘波博士1985年出国，就读于夏威夷大学，教育心理学博士；1992年，在美国教育考试服务中心从事博士后研究。不仅仅自己是博士后学霸，王博士的两个孩子也都是全球排名第一的沃顿商学院的高材生——他的大儿子是宾大沃顿商学院和宾大沃顿工程学院的双学位毕业生，是宾大历史上、可能也是美国历史上，第一个同时在两个院校毕业同时拿到两个学位，且成绩都是第一名的学生。

多年来，王湘波博士致力于中美两国基础教育交流。2009至2017年，在中国教育领导的支持下，他将美国AP课程引入中国，并扩大了SAT在中国流行，促进中国国际高中的教学、研究及课程体系的改革和发展，培养学生的国际视野和竞争水平。第一次为广大中国留学生竞争美国和世界的名校开辟了正式渠道，被广誉为“中国SAT、AP之父”。

Wang Xiangbo went abroad in 1985 to study University of Hawaii, a phd in educational psychology, and in 1992 to do postdoctoral research at the Educational Testing Service. Not only is he a postdoctoral scholar, both of Wang's children are also top The Wharton School in the world -- his eldest son is a The Wharton School graduate of both the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Engineering, is the first student in the history of Penn State, and probably the history of the United States, to graduate from two colleges and get two degrees at the same time, and both are top of their class.

Over the years, Dr. Wang has devoted himself to basic education exchanges between China and the United States. From 2009 to 2017, with the support of Chinese education leaders, he introduced the American AP curriculum to China and expanded the popularity of the SAT in China, promoting the reform and development of the teaching, research and curriculum system of China's international high schools, to develop students' international vision and level of competition. For the first time for the majority of Chinese students to compete in the United States and the world's famous schools opened up a formal channel, is widely known as the“Father of Chinese SAT, AP.”.
