2023年4月15日，深美外籍人员子女学校正式开放了DSE课程，成为大湾区首批开设此课程的国际学校。深美DSE负责人Chery表示：如今大湾区一体化进程加快，为响应习总书记在“十四五”中对于加速粤港澳地区布局与建设的号召，为满足大湾区学生与家长日益紧迫的需求，此次深美开设DSE课程将加深三地教育系统的融合，未来我们也将携手深圳各个国际学校，立足大湾区的特色优势，推动深港澳三地合作与交流。

On April 15, 2023, SZSAIS officially launched the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (DSE) course, becoming the first international school in the Greater Bay Area to offer this curriculum. Chery, the person in charge of the DSE program at SAIS, stated that the integration process of the Greater Bay Area is accelerating. In response to President Xi Jinping's call in the 14th Five-Year Plan to accelerate the layout and construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Area, and to meet the urgent need of students and their parents, the opening of the DSE course at SAIS will deepen the integration of the education systems of the three regions and promote cooperation and exchange among international schools in Shenzhen, taking advantage of the unique characteristics of the Greater Bay Area.

DSE俗称香港高考，是香港中学文凭考试（Hongkong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination）的简称，是由香港考试及评核局于2012年开始举办的公开考试，是目前全球唯一可以用中文作答的国际认可文凭考试。DSE考试不限户籍，无论是港籍、外籍或者内地户籍均可报考。DSE考试每年举行一次，考期在每年的三月至五月，从明年（2024年）开始，考生可以选择在大陆应考。

DSE, commonly known as the Hong Kong University entrance exam, is the abbreviation of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination. It is an open examination administered by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority since 2012 and is the only internationally recognized diploma exam that can be answered in Chinese. DSE is not restricted by nationality, so candidates with Hong Kong, foreign or Mainland of China citizenship can apply. DSE is held once a year in March to May, and starting from next year (2024), candidates can choose to take the exam on the Mainland of China.

DSE考试的升学方向非常丰富，港籍学生可通过JUPAS（大学联合招生系统）申请香港地区的大学，包括QS前40的香港三大（香港大学、香港科技大学、香港中文大学），以及香港的其他名校；也可以通过DSE内地免试招生计划申请内地132所大学（包括清华大学、北京大学、复旦大学、浙江大学以及上海交通大学等）；另外DSE受国际认可，考生可申请包括英美新加等17个主流国家的280所大学。

DSE offers a wide range of academic paths for Hong Kong （China） students. Hong Kong students can apply for Hong Kong  universities through the Joint University Programs Admissions System (JUPAS), including the top three universities in Hong Kong (The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong) and other prestigious schools in Hong Kong. Hong Kong students can also apply for 132 Mainland of China universities (including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University) through the DSE Mainland of China exemption scheme. Furthermore, DSE is internationally recognized, and candidates can apply to 280 universities in 17 major countries, including the UK, the US, and Singapore.

SAIS International School's DSE program boasts the highest quality teaching team, with most teachers coming from Hong Kong and holding master's degrees or above from top universities. They can teach in fluent Chinese and English and provide after-class guidance to students with weak English skills, as well as tailor-made curriculum plans. Every teacher receives weekly training organized by SAIS to achieve self-optimization in the process of teaching and educating students, and thus progress together with the school.

深美按照学年进行收费，学费为180000/学年，注册及教材费用5000/年；面向G6到G9（每个班最多25人）；入学测试包括笔试（中文、英语和数学）和面试（学生中英面试、家长中文面试），测试时间约2小时。 

SAIS charges on an annual basis, with a tuition fee of 180,000 yuan per year and a registration and textbook fee of 5,000 yuan per year. The program is open to students in grades 6 to 9 (with a maximum of 25 students per class). The entrance test includes a written test (in Chinese, English, and mathematics) and an interview (in Chinese and English for students, and in Chinese for parents), with a testing time of about 2 hours.
