深港双师，携手共进
深圳（南山）中加学校HKDSE课程教学研讨会
香港DSE课程班一直是我校教学重点之一，为了共享教学资讯，明晰教学方向，提升教学效能，5月23日—25日，我校与香港优才国际教育联合召开了DSE课程教学研讨会。DSE课程教师与香港优才名师团队参加了会议。
The Hong Kong DSE Curriculum has always been a key focus of our school's teaching. In order to share teaching information, clarify teaching direction, and improve teaching effectiveness, our school jointly held a DSE curriculum teaching seminar with Hong Kong U-charm International Education from May 23rd to 25th. DSE curriculum teachers and the U-charm team of excellent teachers from Hong Kong attended the meeting.
通过本次研讨会，老师们收获满满。不仅了解了DSE考试命题的最新资讯，也更加明确了今后的教学大方向，让老师在教学上更能有的放矢。会后，各学科教师也会继续深化两地教研，及时分享教学内容，共同进步。
Through this seminar, the teachers gained a lot. They not only learned the latest information about the DSE exam, but also clarified the overall direction of future teaching, making it easier for teachers to target their teaching objectives. After the meeting, teachers from various subjects will continue to deepen cross-border teaching and research, share teaching content in a timely manner, and advance together.
加拿大数学竞赛获奖颁奖活动
我校学生在2023年4月参加了三场加拿大数学竞赛，滑铁卢大学给成绩排名在全球25%的参赛学生颁发荣誉证书。此次共有34名学生获奖，其中高一年级Galois竞赛有16名学生获奖，高二年级Hypatia竞赛有7人获奖，Euclid竞赛有10人获奖。
In April 2023, many students participated in three Canadian Mathematics Competitions. The University of Waterloo awarded honor certificates to students whose scores ranked in the top 25% globally. A total of 34 students won awards, including 16 in the Galois Competition for grade 11, 7 in the Hypatia Competition for grade 12, and 10 in the Euclid Competition.
5月22-26日，高一、高二年级平行班也举行了校内数学竞赛，经过数学组老师们的精心组织与准备，经过同学们的激烈角逐，涌现出一批优秀的学生，并为他们颁发了获奖证书。
From May 22nd to 26th, parallel classes of grade 11 and grade 12 also held an internal mathematics competition. After careful organization and preparation by the mathematics teachers and intense competition among the students, a group of outstanding students emerged and were awarded with certificates of achievement.
责任督学进校园，督导检查促发展
5月25日上午，南山区教育局督导科督学杜平、韩玫莅临我校，就“十不得一严禁”、“双减”工作进行专项督导。
On the morning of May 25th, Du Ping and Han Mei, supervisors of the Nanshan District Education Bureau, visited our school to conduct special supervision on our work.
招生开放日及中考志愿填报指导会
5月27日，我校成功举办招生开放日活动。当天的活动内容主要是：国际教育探讨与咨询，优秀毕业生及其家长经验分享，名师专题讲座和优秀社团活动展示。招生办李正伟主任还向参加活动的学生及其家长进行了中考志愿填报指导。
On May 27th, our school successfully held an open enrollment day event. The main activities of the day were: international education discussion and consultation, sharing of experiences with outstanding graduates and their parents, lectures by renowned teachers, and exhibition of excellent club activities. Director Li Zhengwei of the admissions office also provided guidance to students and their parents who participated in the activity on filling out their high school entrance examination applications.
全体教师大会
5月30日下午，召开了全体教师大会，校领导及全体教师参加了会议，会议由教学处副主任王艮主持。会上，学生处周东凯主任就高三年级毕业典礼事宜进行了安排，教学处关宇筠主任对上一阶段的教学工作进行了回顾与梳理，并对接下来的教学重点工作进行了部署，对教学常规进行了强调。最后，冷晶副校长进行总结发言。
On the afternoon of May 30th, a general meeting for all teachers was held, with school leaders and all teachers in attendance. The meeting was chaired by the deputy director of the TAO, Mr. Wang Gen. During the meeting, the director of the student affairs office, Mr. Zhou Dongkai, made arrangements for the graduation ceremony for the class of 2023 graduates. The director of the TAO, Guan Yujun, reviewed and organized the previous stage of teaching work, and deployed key teaching work for the next stage, while emphasizing teaching routines. Finally, Vice Principal Leng Jing gave a concluding speech.
高二年级雅思督导会议
5月31日下午，召开了高二年级雅思督导会议。校领导、高二年级班主任及英语老师参加了会议。会上，高二年级英语备课组长蒋晓明老师介绍了高二年级目前的雅思情况、高二年级教学安排及冲分计划；年级组长李琼老师强调了雅思对于升学的重要性；教学处王艮副主任明确了各班雅思任务，提出要重教研、重落实；教学处关宇筠主任强调要吹响雅思冲锋的号角，作计划、抓模考，抓住时间节点全力冲刺。最后，冷晶副校长进行总结发言，对雅思教学提出了具体的建议与方法。
On the afternoon of May 31st, a special meeting on IELTS for the 11th grade was held. The 11th grade homeroom teachers and English teachers attended the meeting.
高三年级学生毕业临行前说明会及在线家长会
5月22日下午，升学办的老师在多功能厅为高三年级即将毕业的学生召开了毕业临行前说明会。5月23日晚上，为高三年级学生的家长召开了在线的高三年级学生毕业临行前说明家长会。
On the afternoon of May 22nd, UGO teachers held a briefing session for Grade 12 students at the Multi-Function Hall in preparation for their upcoming graduation. And on the evening of May 23rd, UGO teachers held the same topic for Grade 12 students’ parents at Tencent Meeting.
校家长委员会换届选举会议
在2023届毕业生即将毕业之际，5月24日，深圳（南山）中加学校家委会成功换届改选。
On May 24th, as the 2023 graduates are about to graduate, the Family Committee of Shenzhen (Nanshan) Sino Canadian School successfully underwent a new election.
毕业林剪彩仪式
在这收获的毕业季，为表达对母校的眷念和对恩师的感激之情，高三全体学生和家长向学校赠送了两株木棉，栽种在“毕业林”中。5月24日，学校领导和校家委、各年级家委成员以及学生代表举行了庄严的剪彩仪式。
In this harvest Season of graduation, in order to express their gratitude to their alma mater and their teacher, all senior three students and parents presented two kapok trees to the school and planted them in the "graduation forest". On May 24th, the school leaders, the school family committee, members of each grade's family committee, and student representatives held a solemn ribbon cutting ceremony.
