Time flies when you're having fun. Our K3 students are about to say goodbye to Pre-Prep and start a brand-new chapter of their lives, their hearts filled with fond memories and dreams for the future. Today, we are putting on a grand ceremony to mark their very first graduation, not just to send them off in style, but also to say: 'we'll meet again!'
Watch the video to look back on some spectacular moments of K3's graduation
In the auditorium of The King's School Shenzhen, our K3 graduates started down their unique pathways to growing up. They clapped for their fellow graduates, waved at their teachers, and brought along their parents to enjoy this very special moment together.
As the curtain slowly lifted over the stage, all of the children in K3 stood ready. Then, with clear voices they began to sing their graduation song.
Up first were K31, who treated the audience to a musical medley, with each song accompanied by its own distinct dance moves. They gave us a taste of their learning at Pre-Prep by cleverly integrating comedy into their dance routine, to the great amusement of their audience.
Their cry of "It's time to say goodbye" revealed their enduring love for and reluctance to part with their Pre-Prep school, but the future waits for no one. We have no doubt at all that every child in K31 is ready for their next step into a future full of possibilities and challenges!

Next up were K32, who transformed themselves into street dancers and engaged each other in a dance battle. With confidence and bravado, the two sides competed in a legendary dance-off.
In the end, both sides agreed to dance together, and put on a great display of K32's distinctive enthusiasm.
K33's performance was bursting with energy, and mobilised the excitement of the audience to great effect. By getting everyone in the crowd to stand up, clap along, and dance, they lifted the atmosphere of the graduation ceremony to its peak.
K33's energy was such that they didn't even need microphones for their singing to reach the last rows of the auditorium. With every rhythm and every beat, they showed us their unbound enthusiasm.
Last but not least was K34, who took the audience on a trip down memory lane with a wonderful performance inspired by their years at King's.
They movingly ended their routine by lining up shoulder-to-shoulder, indicating that in their future journeys, they will likewise join hands withtheir friends and forge ahead towards marvellous things.
Graduation Certificate Awarding
As befits a proper graduation ceremony, the students' graduation certificates were formally awarded as a sign of their growth over the past years. The graduates confidently strode onto the stage to shake Principal Cocksworth and Head of Pre-Prep Yang's hands, and received the first graduation certificates of their lives.
For four years, almost 1500 days and nights, we have made Pre-Prep our home away from home together. In anticipation of their graduation, we interviewed every student in K3, and asked them to reminisce about the past few years at King's. Principal Cocksworth and Head of Pre-Prep Yang also took this opportunity to express their best wishes to the graduates and their families.
Interview with K3 students
Having come together, we must now inevitably part. The children in K3 are about to set off on an exciting new phase in their journey to independent study and life. That journey will not only contain love and applause, but also some challenges and setbacks. However, King's firmly believes that all of our graduates will remain grounded in reality and will calmly face up to obstacles. They will remain modest but confident, full of courage and fortitude, and will actively embrace their wonderful futures!
Building Dreams.
Reach out and pluck a star from the night sky!
May our cherished children always have love in their hearts and sparks in their eyes, and actively embrace and enjoy every day of growing up!
We wish all of you a future with unlimited possibility and happiness!
