Welcome back to another year of ISNS Phoenix Sports and activities! ISNS Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) program offers a wide range of opportunities for students.
SCHOOLSBUDDY INTRODUCTION
ISNS uses Schools Buddy to manage the sign-up and allocation process for Athletic and Extracurricular Activities (ECA’s). All students and parents will have their own access to Schools Buddy.
New Parents and students to ISNS should have received a welcome email this week from Schools Buddy with a link to sign-up and create an account. Please check your SPAM folder if you can’t locate it. Parents and students can now also use their Managebac login details to access Schools Buddy.
Signing-up for an activity in Schools Buddy is a commitment by the student to participate in that sport/activity, if allocated or selected.
For MS and HS, both Parents and Students will be able to register for activities. For ES, it will only be the parent who can register for activities.
Families can access Schools Buddy via the Schools Buddy website and/or their mobile app which is available to download for both iOS (App Store) and Android (Play Store). We encourage both parents and students to download the App.
ATHLETICS/SPORTS TEAMS
SIGNUP GUIDANCE:
ISNS Phoenix Athletics teams are mainly for Middle (G6-8) and High School (G9-12) students, there are some opportunities for Gr4&5 students.
Athletics operates on a seasonal basis. There are three registration periods prior to each season starting.
Season 1 Registration:
2023, Aug 24th to Sept 1st
Season 2 Registration:
2023, Oct 9th to October 13th
Season 3 Registration:
2024, Jan 15th to Jan 19th
This is a booking-based system, all students will need to try out for teams. Families should review the tournament/practice schedule before registering for try-outs. Available on the ISNS Extracurricular Website ↓

PARENTAL PERMISSION
FOR SPORTS TEAMS
Parental permission to participate in the ISNS Extracurricular sports programme must be given BEFORE the student can participate in any sports activities.
Permission is given by completing an online form and returning required copies of documents. DO NOT email copies to the Athletic Department, hard copies are required.
The online form contains information about the ISNS athletics programme that will ensure parents/students understand and agree to conditions/expectations for participation.
It will also ensure the school has an accurate account of information for students/parents e.g., medical and emergency contact information
If the online form is not completed and documents not submitted to the Athletics Office, the student will not be able to participate in the ISNS Athletics programme.
PERFORMING ARTS
ACTIVITIES GUIDANCE
A variety of Performing Arts activities are offered to Grades 1-12 students and focuses on preparing for the Winter and Spring Concerts (Dec and May). Most of the activities are all-year commitments, but there are also some activities that are separated into the two semesters. All registrations for the Performing Arts Activities are at the beginning of the school year. Late requests are considered depending on availability. Both students and parents in ISNS will be able to sign up for the Performing Activities. Please communicate with each other. The performing Arts Activities vary in requirements, such as:
Audition vs. First come first serve
One semester vs. all year
Limited space vs. unlimited
Previous experience vs. no experience
Grade specific vs. all grades
Please note activities that require an audition is not guaranteed acceptance. Acceptance of each student will be communicated after the successful completed audition process.
Date for sign-ups:
August 28-September 1.
Performing Arts Activities operates on first come first serve, unless an Audition is specified.
You will receive an email confirming your selection, however, this email does not confirm your child's place.
After the registration period closes, the Activity leader will communicate to parents/students with the appropriate information regarding the activity.

VISUAL ARTS & DESIGN AND
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES GUIDANCE
The activities program offers a range of activities for all students ages.
Activities typically run during semester 1 and semester 2, with a registration period prior to each session.
Date for sign-ups: please visit the school website for up-to-date details.
Activities operates on first come first serve and/or preference based.
Parents will need to sign up students for activities.
You will receive an email confirming your selection, however, this email does not confirm your child's place.
After the registration period closes the system will randomly allocate students their activities and parents/students will be communicated with their final list.
You can also access all your child's activities by using the iOS and Android Schools Buddy Apps.

ISNS凤凰体育校队主要面向中学（6-8年级）和高中（9-12年级）的学生，也有一些面向小学4-5年级的学生。
体育类项目以季度来开展。每个季度开始前有相应的报名时间段。
第一季度报名：
2023年8月24日-9月1日
第二季度报名：
2023年10月9日-10月13日
第三季度报名：
2024年1月15日-1月19日
体育类都采用报名制，所有学生都需进行选拔来加入校队。参与的学生家庭都需要在参与选拔之前先查阅联赛/训练排程。
在学生参加任何体育活动之前，必须得到家长的同意才能参加ISNS的课外体育活动。
通过填写在线表格并交回所需文件的纸质副本。请不要将副本通过电子邮件发送给体育组，而是需要提交纸质打印文件到体育组。
在线表格包含有关ISNS体育项目的信息，以确保家长/学生理解并同意参与的条件/期望。
它还将确保学校准确记录学生/家长的信息，例如医疗和紧急联系信息。
如果未填写在线表格并未向体育组办公室提交纸质许可文件，学生将无法参加ISNS体育课程。
表演艺术活动为1-12年级学生提供丰富多彩的活动，并为每年的冬季和春季音乐会(12月和5月) 做准备。大多数活动是一学年的报名制，但也有一些活动被分开到两个学期来报名。

课后活动分为第一学期和第二学期，每个学期都需进行报名。
活动报名时间：请浏览学校网站的活动页面查看最新消息。
报名选择完活动后，您将收到一封确认邮件，但此邮件并非确认您孩子已成功被活动录取。
报名结束以后系统将发送最终学生被活动录取的情况，请家长/学生互相告知最终的活动明细。
