Mary Ann grew up in Prince Edward Island, Canada, where she cultivated her passion for knowledge. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a multidisciplinary focus encompassing Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry. Additionally, she obtained a Bachelor of Education degree specializing in International Education. Currently, Mary Ann is in the final stages of completing her Masters in Counseling Psychology at Yorkville University.
Mary Ann's professional journey brought her to ISNS, where she is embarking on her first year as a team member. Her responsibilities include teaching Environmental Systems and Societies while also fulfilling the role of a counselor for students in grades 9 and 10.
With ten years of experience teaching various science courses in China of the Canadian curriculum, Mary Ann is thrilled to embrace the International Baccalaureate Programme and wholeheartedly aligns with ISNS's mission statement.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Mary Ann leads an active lifestyle infused with her love for sports and exercise. She particularly enjoys engaging in basketball, hiking, and cycling activities, which contribute to her overall well-being and zest for life.
