10月6日，全国业余高尔夫球锦标赛第五站分站在广东惠来金海湾高尔夫俱乐部圆满举行，来自全国110位青少年选手集结在此，联手为我们带来了一场高水平的高尔夫比赛。其中，威睿达思深圳校区（下称VCASZ）的优秀高尔夫球特长生Elaine也参加了本次比赛！

On October 6th, the fifth leg of the National Amateur Golf Championship was successfully held at the Golden Bay Golf Club in Huilai, Guangdong, where 110 junior players from all over the country gathered and joined forces to bring us a high-level golf tournament. Among them, VCASZ's outstanding golf specialty student Elaine also participated in the tournament!

在进入VCASZ之前，Elaine平日的高尔夫训练安排占掉了很大一部分原本应该用来学习文化课的时间，她和父母也经常为了她的文化课感到担忧：即使她高尔夫的成绩非常优异，但标化成绩这个硬性指标，却还像一座大山，拦在她的升学之路上。

Before entering VCASZ, Elaine's weekday golf training schedule took up a large portion of the time that should have been used for cultural studies, and she and her parents often worried about her cultural studies: even though her golf skills were good enough, her standardized scores were still like a mountain in her path.

VCASZ为满足像Elaine这样的各专项特长生们的需求，特别定制了适合特长生学业专项发展的体系，不再像其他国际学校或体制内学校一样，让特长训练时间配合学校的课程安排，而是配合特长生的训练时间（通常是下午或晚上），将必修的主课全部集中安排在了上午。

In order to meet the needs of special students like Elaine, VCASZ has customized the system of developing both academics and specialties for students with talents. Instead of allowing special training time to fit in with the school's schedule like other international or institutional schools, VCASZ fits in with the their training time (which is usually in the afternoons or evenings) by focusing on the mandatory major classes in the mornings.

而在太平洋另一侧的美国总校也同样非常注重体育、艺术等特长生的升学规划，比如游泳、网球、篮球等。

On the other side of the Pacific Ocean, the U.S. headquartered school also pays great attention to the advancement planning of students with specialties in sports and arts, such as swimming, tennis, basketball, and so on.

VCASZ目前对于学生均采取一生一策的制度，我们给每位学生都配备了升学指导团队，为他们量身定制符合他们学术水平的课程。同时采用导师制，每位学生都有自己专属的导师，导师会根据学生在学校的学习与生活情况，以周为单位向家长反馈，确保家校间沟通顺畅、学生在VCASZ有一个良好的学习状态。

VCASZ currently adopts a one-for-one system for all students, whereby each student is assigned to a team of college guidance counselors who will customize a program that meets his or her academic level. At the same time, each student has his/her own tutor, who will provide weekly feedback to parents on the student's learning and life at the school, ensuring smooth communication between home and school, and a good learning environment for the student at VCASZ.

VCASZ的特长生专项双轨制可以满足特长生们对于自己专项日常训练的需求，同时保证文化课在不影响专项训练的基础上正常运转，最后达到标化成绩、专项成绩双优进入顶级高校的结果。

VCASZ's dual-track system for special students can meet the needs of special students for their own special daily training, while ensuring that the cultural classes do not affect the special training on the basis of normal functioning, and finally achieve the results of entering the top colleges and universities with excellent standardized and specialized scores.
