ISNS Teachers Certified as Cambridge B2 Examiners ｜教师荣获剑桥B2考官资质
A prerequisite for becoming a Cambridge exam centre is to have a team of qualified examiners. Over the past three years, ISNS has gradually built up an excellent team of examiners.
● In January 2021, seven teachers got approved as Young Learners English examiners. This is the first batch of Cambridge examiners at ISNS.
● In September 2021, eight teachers were certified as KET and PET examiners.
● In October 2023, seven teachers were qualified as FCE examiners.
With the increase of the number of examiners and the enrichment of exam levels, ISNS can provide exam services for more and more students.

Teachers participating in the Cambridge program must have a strong academic background and rich teaching experience in order to meet the strict entry requirements of Cambridge. On the training day, after induction, participants carefully studied the assessment scales, watched test videos, and carried out a group simulation examination. In the end, only participants who successfully met the marking standard became a qualified Cambridge examiner.
Achieving examiner status is just the beginning. In order to maintain accuracy, every examiner must undertake Certification of Assessment and Certification of Procedure once every 12 months. Moreover, at least once every three years, Cambridge will send inspectors to ISNS and monitor the examination process of each examiner to ensure that the exam is conducted in a standardized manner. All these are quality assurance measures. Behind this, each examiner has spent a lot of time and energy so that ISNS students can enjoy high-quality exam service on campus. This once again reflects the high level of professionalism of ISNS faculty, and the spirit of continuous progress and excellence in professional development.
Introduction to Cambridge Main Suite Examinations
Cambridge Main Suite Examinations (abbreviated as MSE) is a series of examinations designed by Cambridge University in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (abbreviated as CEFR).
KET, PET, FCE, CAE and CPE
MSE is a scientific examination and evaluation system, and the results help parents to fully understand the development of their children's English ability. The test allows for a comparison between a student’s current level and past results to determine whether they have made progress. Due to its scientific approach, reliability and positive reputation, Cambridge MSE has been recognized all over the world and is widely used in enrollment, employment, immigration, and other purposes.
KET and PET are the first and second levels of the Cambridge Main Suite Examinations and are mainly for students in upper primary and middle school. FCE is the third level of the Cambridge Main Suite Examinations and is mainly for students in G8 and above.
Upcoming Exams and Test Prep Arrangement
On Saturday, January 27, 2024, there are two exams at ISNS:
-Starters in the morning and KET in the afternoon.
-In addition, FCE test prep course will start on Monday, November 20, 2023.

参与剑桥项目的老师必须拥有过硬的学历背景和丰富的教学经验，才能符合剑桥严格的入门标准。培训过程中，教师们在培训师的带领下，进行理论导入，学习评分标准，观看口试视频，并进行分组模拟测试。最终，成功通过考试的教师才能成为一名合格的剑桥考官。
获得考官身份只是一个开始。为了保持评分的准确性，每年，每一位考官都必须完成线上考核，校准评分，并且参加线下会议，更新巩固考试流程。至少每三年，剑桥会派出考官督导进入学校考场，全程观察每位考官的执考过程，确保考试以统一、规范的方式进行。这些措施，都是为了保证考试的公平公正。在这背后，考官们付出了很多时间、精力，让ISNS学生在校内就能享受到高质量的考试服务。这体现了 ISNS教师队伍的高水平、高素质，和在专业发展上不断进取、精益求精的职业精神。
剑桥通用英语五级考试（剑桥大学考试委员会称之为主体系列考试，Main Suite Examinations，缩写为MSE）是英国剑桥大学考试委员会根据欧洲委员会制定的语言教学大纲（Common European Framework of Reference for Languages，缩写为CEFR）设计的英语作为外国语的五级系列考试。
MSE是一个很科学的考试评价体系，其结果有助于家长全面了解孩子的英语能力发展，比如：孩子目前处于什么水平；和以前相比，是否取得了进步。剑桥五级考试由于其科学性、可靠性和良好的口碑，在世界各国获得承认，广泛用于入学、就业、移民等各种用途。
KET、PET属于剑桥通用英语五级考试中的第一和第二级别的考试，主要适用于小学高龄段和初中的学生。FCE属于剑桥通用英语五级考试中的第三级别的考试，主要适用于G8及以上的学生。
2024年1月27日（周六），学校安排了两场考试：
-上午是少儿英语一级，下午是KET。
-另外，FCE的备考辅导班将于2023年11月20日（周一）开课。
