缘   起


邓登江总校长提出完全的质量观,“四个更加关注”是质的规定性,“三个 80%以上达成”是量的规定性。课堂是教育教学的主渠道,本学期将系列展示学校课堂文化的方方面面。本次活动目的在于解决日常教学中的疑点、难点、痛点、盲点问题,“家常菜最养人”“常态课最育人”,以“家常课”为主,不搞花架子, 以求实、务实、落实、实效为判断的主要标准,促进学科组集体备课、磨课、反思、提炼等教研活动开展,期以实现华美的课堂文化形成。



拾壹章


由低位徘徊到排名第一


学期初邓校长要求“能有多快就多快进入学习状态”言犹在耳,转瞬到了学期末,作为学校“主营业务”的教学“主营收入”如何?


501班排名第一!


学期末金安教育集团五年级调考,金安集团几所学校五年级一共21个班,华美外国语学校501班总分排名第一,数学排名第一,英语排名第二,高分率等多项数据名列前茅



要知道,往年的集团调考,华美的数据一直不大好看。


为何有如此翻天覆地的变化?


只因为邓校长胡校长牢牢抓住了提升教育教学质量这个中心工作绝不动摇!


只因为全体科任老师加班加点争分夺秒严格训练!赵静、刘晓佳、Izabela和刘俏老师每天早晚听写、默写、计算过关。


只因为教学团队的通力合作!数学教研组长张建银老师教六年级,采取人盯人战术,每天义务给五年级学生补习。


只因为刻苦钻研教育教学艺术!琢磨每一个学习内容,琢磨每一道题,琢磨每一个学习细节,琢磨每一个学习习惯。



由质量意识到质量行动


着眼于风气转变,一个月前一接到集团调考通知,学校就做复习迎考动员,抓气氛、抓规范、抓落实,组织各科教师精选、精编复习资料,掀起了从抓作业质量到抓教学质量的热潮。


于是,早读越来越早,晚修越来越晚,学生在教学区待的时间越来越接近学校规定的阈值。每个课间都可以看到教师辅导学生的身影,每个孩子都高质量地完成当天的作业。



不仅是苦干,还有巧干;不仅有汗水,更有开心的泪水。老师们精选题目,制作精巧的课件,极大地提高了教学效率。学生在适当强度的练习中加深理解、进行拓展、得以升华。


期末考试中,老师们不放过短暂的考余时间,与时间赛跑,辅导学生。不仅提高了学习成绩,更重要是培养了良好的学习习惯,营造了浓厚的学习氛围。让学生以学习为乐,以学习为荣,珍惜一切可以珍惜的时间,发展自己,成就自己,不负青春,不负韶华。




由单兵作战到团队协同

这个寒假,学校为孩子们精选假期作业,各科作业清单具体到每一天,请家长朋友们督促孩子当天完成;每天科任老师发布答案,请家长朋友们督促孩子当天订正;请家长朋友们督促孩子每天上传作业图片,科任老师每天反馈作业情况;下学期初,学校将举办假期作业展,评选假期学习标兵,并予以隆重表彰。


优秀的成绩靠点点滴滴的积累,良好的习惯靠日复一日的训练,健全的人格靠循序渐进的坚持。


下学期学校将重点抓学生作业,抓有没有独立完成作业,抓有没有按时完成作业,抓有没有保质保量完成作业,抓有没有及时批改作业,抓有没有及时评讲作业,抓作业有没有明显的效度。


文化,文化,以文化之。文者,慢也。慢者,并非迟缓,而是遵循规律,敬畏规则。量变引起质变,只要我们策略得当,发展速度就像滚雪球,最终实现井喷爆发。让我们实现家校联合,校内校外,上学休假,利用一切可以利用的因素(时间和空间,精神和物质),促进学生全面发展,创造华美学子的美好未来。

ORIGIN


President Deng Dengjiang proposed a comprehensive view of quality, where the "Four Focus Areas" define the quality, and the "Three 80% or Above Achievements" define the quantity. The classroom is the main channel for education and teaching, and this semester will showcase various aspects of the school's classroom culture. The purpose of this activity is to address the doubts, difficulties, pains, and blind spots in daily teaching. Emphasizing the idea that "simple dishes nourish people" and "regular classes nurture people," the focus is on "ordinary classes" without unnecessary embellishments. The main criteria for judgment are practicality, pragmatism, implementation, and effectiveness. This aims to promote collective lesson preparation, refinement, reflection, and other teaching and research activities within subject groups, with the goal of forming Huamei's classroom culture.



CHAPTER XI


From Lingering at a Low Position to Ranking First


At the beginning of the semester, President Deng's directive to "get into the learning state as quickly as possible" is still fresh in our minds. In the blink of an eye, we have reached the end of the semester, and how did the teaching, which is the school's "core business" and "main source of income," fare?


Class 501 ranks first!


In the end-of-semester Grade 5 assessment by Jin'an Education Group, comprising 21 classes from several schools, Huamei Foreign Language School's Class 501 secured the top position in total scores, first in mathematics, second in English, and excelled in various other data metrics.



It's worth noting that in previous years, Huamei's performance in group assessments hasn't been very impressive.


Why such a dramatic change?


Simply because President Deng and Principal Hu firmly held onto the unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of education and teaching, making it the central focus of their efforts!


Only because all subject teachers work overtime, strive every second, and undergo strict training! Teachers Zhao Jing, Liu Xiaojia,Ms Izabela and Liu Qiao conduct daily dictations, memorizations, and problem-solving sessions in the morning and evening.


Only because of the collaborative efforts of the teaching team! Mathematics research group leader, Teacher Zhang Jianyin, teaches sixth grade and adopts a person-to-person strategy, volunteering to provide extra lessons for fifth-grade students every day.


Only because of diligent dedication to the art of education and teaching! Delving into every learning content, contemplating each question, scrutinizing every learning detail, and pondering over every learning habit.



From Quality Awareness to Quality Action


A month ago, the school organized teachers from various subjects to carefully select review materials, sparking a fervor for emphasizing teaching quality.


As a result, during every break, one could see teachers guiding students, with morning study sessions starting earlier and evening study sessions extending later. Some students completed a week's worth of exercises in just one day.



It's not only about hard work but also smart work; not just sweat but also tears of joy. Teachers carefully selected questions, created intricate teaching materials, significantly improving teaching efficiency. Students deepened their understanding, expanded their knowledge, and elevated their skills through appropriately challenging exercises.


During the final exams, teachers didn't waste any spare time, racing against the clock to provide guidance to students. This not only improved academic performance but, more importantly, cultivated good study habits and created a strong learning atmosphere. Students began to find joy in learning, take pride in their studies, cherish every moment, develop themselves, and achieve success, making the most of their youth and time.




From Solo Operations to Team Collaboration

This winter break, the school has meticulously selected holiday assignments for the children, providing a detailed daily task list for each subject. Parents are encouraged to supervise and ensure that their children complete the assignments each day. Subject teachers release answers daily, and parents are encouraged to supervise their children's corrections. At the beginning of the next semester, the school will organize a holiday assignment exhibition, recognizing and commending outstanding holiday learners.

In the upcoming semester, the school will focus on monitoring student assignments, checking for independent completion, ensuring assignments are done on time and with quality, verifying timely correction and feedback from teachers, and assessing the overall effectiveness of assignments.


Culture, culture, through culture. The term "culture" denotes a deliberate pace. Deliberateness is not synonymous with slowness; rather, it follows a set of rules and respects regulations. Quantitative changes lead to qualitative transformations, and as long as our strategies are sound, the pace of development is like a snowball rolling downhill, eventually achieving an explosive growth. Let us establish a partnership between home and school, both within and outside the school, during school and vacation times, utilizing all available factors (time and space, mental and material), to promote the comprehensive development of students and create a bright future for Huamei students.
