Eleven teams of Grade 8-11 students have stepped up to lead coding showcase activities in the atrium throughout the lunch periods from Monday thru Thursday. It was a student-led event with some guidance from individual teacher mentors, have volunteered to design, build, and lead a coding activity for the ISNS PYP student population. Our young PYP learners were so excited to be able to get hands-on robotics, virtual reality, 3D printing, and block-based programming experience directly from an older ISNS student. What a celebration of STEM across a multitude of grade levels.

On Friday, DJI Innovations, one of the world's leading drone and robotics companies, hosted a carnival on campus. DJI had facilitated a number of activities, including puzzle challenges, Robomaster coding competitions, and a variety of drone-related events. With their Headquarters located in Shenzhen, our students had a world-class experience put on by a world-class organization right at ISNS. 

Throughout the school and all during the week, individual classrooms designated class time for coding-related activities. Students were hands-on with coding games and challenges, with a week-long focus on computer science and computational thinking. Activities had been curated for each grade level to maximize learning and impact.

Both of our libraries had hands-on, tactile coding events geared towards our younger learners. Stations were set up throughout the week during lunch hour for play-based design.

Hour of Code

As the echoes of coding adventures fade, the impact of the 2024 ISNS Hour of Code Week continues to resonate. Students acrossed all grade levels not only embraced the digital language of the future but also discovered the joy of creation and problem-solving that coding brings. The week-long celebration was a testament to ISNS's commitment to providing a holistic and forward-thinking education, preparing students for the challenges and opportunities of an increasingly digital world.

整个ISNS的这个星期，一些班级指定上课时间进行与编程相关的活动。学生们亲身体验了编程游戏和各种挑战，为期一周的学习目标是围绕着计算机科学和计算思维开展。为不同年级策划了活动，以最大限度地提高学习的热情和积极影响。

我们的两个图书馆都有面向年轻学习者就动手、触觉编码展开活动。我们在午间游戏时间设置了站点给学生们进行游戏设计。

编程一小时

随着编程活动的圆满结束，2024年ISNS编程一小时周的影响仍在继续。所有年级的学生不仅接受了未来的数字语言，还发现了编码带来的创造和解决问题的乐趣。为期一周的庆祝活动证明了ISNS致力于提供全面和前瞻性的教育，为学生应对日益数字化世界的挑战和机遇做好准备。
