优秀寒假作业展



今年春节“弯道超车”很火,所谓弯道超车,是指在寒假中,学生认真学习,教师用心辅导,家长全力配合,养成良好学习习惯,成就优异学业。邓登江和胡少明两位校长放假前一个月就进行部署,各科组精选假期作业和资料,学校几次公众号推文号召家长,各班家委积极配合,寒假作业覆盖每个学科,精确到每一天,老师们每天反馈作业完成情况。


901班和902班数学老师刘海君腊月二十七通过腾讯课堂为孩子们答疑解惑,讲解作业。


401班主任刘俏老师将各科作业做成表格发给家长,语数英老师腊月二十八、大年初六仍旧批改作业,反馈情况,数学老师分享GGB课件,与孩子们和家长朋友们共同成长。


701班杨霞老师大年初五与孩子们一起订正作业,家长朋友们一天不落在作业登记表上签名确认孩子学习情况。


英语组老师利用“一起作业网”布置每天打卡练习听说,大多数学生严格落实。


家长朋友和孩子们表现特别突出。901班所有学生全部认真完成所有作业。401班焦思格同学除夕仍旧不折不扣完成和提交作业。林简妮妈妈代表家委和数学老师一起讨论寒假作业如何布置。家长朋友们督促孩子完成,订正,提交,反馈,讨论,共同参与,建言献策。



寒假作业布置别具匠心。比如,数学,运用所学数学知识解读刘谦的魔术表演;劳动,孩子们包饺子,打扫卫生迎新年;舞蹈,观看春晚,试着表演其中的节目;音乐,评一评春晚的音乐节目和喜庆乐曲;美术,新春民俗及春晚舞美设计。



特别要提到胡少明副校长带着孩子们用优美的文字描绘春天,美景,美食,春节浓浓的年味,沉淀的人情和文化。孩子们的语言收录到国家重点刊物,广为流传。胡校长的作文教学大大丰富了华美外国语学校PBL华美国际化课程。



401班数学寒假作业是预习新课,并完成相应练习。部分同学完成了下册一半的学习内容。学而后教,不教而教,开学后再学一遍,更能有的放矢,提高学习效率,学习更加轻松,学生的学习信心大大提高。


生物老师布置了实践作业,孩子们在家里培育种子,观察植物的生长过程,孩子们在培养能力的同时,感叹生命的力量和神奇,对健全人格的形成起到了积极作用。胡亿博同学制作了电子日历,信息技术刘伟佳老师夸了又夸,赞不绝口。



开学第一天,开学典礼上隆重表彰了寒假学习标兵,第二天,学校展示了部分优秀寒假作业。孩子们驻足展板前评论和欣赏。初三同学一本本厚厚的作业,见证了龙年春节的勤奋与收获。501班钟童茵同学画了一条栩栩如生的龙,她每天几次去维护,生怕被弄坏了。



不仅假期作业展成为华美的文化大餐规定菜谱,本学期学校还将推出系列的作业展,展现全体师生在完成和批改作业中体现的学习品质和工作作风。全面展示学生作业。每班每科学生所有作业;书面作业和实践作业;课堂作业和课后作业;平时作业与阶段测试;PBL项目探究作业;正确率和作业习惯(学习品质);独立完成和及时订正(错题集);等等。



邓登江总校长提出:以“求实、务实、落实、实效”为判断工作的主要标准。教育无大事,亦无小事。做好每一件小事,才有教育的大成。真心希望广大家长朋友们和学校一起,在点点滴滴中养成孩子们良好的学习品质,形成健全人格,获得优异学业,成就卓越人生,谱写人生的华美乐章。

Vacation Homework Exhibition of 

Huamei Foreign Language School



The "overtaking in the curve" during the Spring Festival was very popular this year, but in fact, Guiyuan Middle School started doing this ten years ago. Principal Deng Dengjiang and Vice Principal Hu Shaoming deployed the plan a month before the holiday. Each subject group carefully selected holiday assignments and materials. The school issued several WeChat articles to call on parents, and class parent committees actively cooperated. Winter vacation assignments covered every subject, down to each day, with teachers providing daily feedback on assignment completion.


On the 27th of the twelfth lunar month, Ms. Liu Haijun, the math teacher of classes 901 and 902, used Tencent Classroom to resolve doubts and explain assignments for the children. 


Ms. Liu Qiao, the head teacher of class 401, compiled assignments from various subjects into tables and sent them to parents. On the fifth and sixth days of the Lunar New Year, teachers for Chinese, Math, and English corrected assignments and provided feedback. The math teacher shared Geogebra (GGB) courseware, fostering mutual growth with children and parents. 


On the first day of the Lunar New Year, Ms. Yang Xia, the teacher of class 701, corrected assignments with the children. Parents signed and confirmed their children's learning status on the assignment registration form without fail every day. 


The English teachers used the "Together Homework" website to assign daily practice exercises for listening and speaking, and the majority of students were punctual.


Parents and friends, as well as the children, showed outstanding performance. All students in class 901 completed all assignments diligently. In class 401, student Jiao Sige completed and submitted assignments meticulously even on New Year's Eve. Lin Jianni's mother, representing the parent committee along with the math teacher, discussed how to arrange winter vacation assignments. Parents and friends urged children to complete, correct, submit, provide feedback, discuss, and actively participate, offering suggestions and advice together.



The winter vacation assignments are creatively designed. For example, in mathematics, students use their mathematical knowledge to interpret Liu Qian's magic performances; in labor, children make dumplings, clean up to welcome the New Year; in dance, they watch the Spring Festival Gala and try to perform some of its programs; in music, they evaluate the music programs and festive melodies of the Spring Festival Gala; in fine arts, they explore the folk customs of the Spring Festival and the stage design of the gala.



Special mention must be made of Vice Principal Hu Shaoming, who guided the children to vividly depict spring, beautiful scenery, delicious food, the strong flavor of the Spring Festival, and the deep-rooted human sentiments and culture using beautiful language. The children's writings have been included in nationally recognized publications and widely circulated. Principal Hu's essay teaching has greatly promoted the establishment of the PBL international curriculum at Huamei Foreign Language School.



Class 401's math winter vacation assignment is to preview new lessons and complete corresponding exercises. Some students have completed half of the content from the next semester's textbook. By learning before teaching, teaching without teaching, and then re-learning after school starts, students can aim more accurately, improve learning efficiency, and make learning easier. As a result, students' confidence in learning has greatly increased.


The biology teacher assigned practical homework where children nurtured seeds at home and observed the growth process of plants. While cultivating their abilities, the children marveled at the power and wonder of life, which played a positive role in the formation of their wholesome personalities. Classmate Hu Yibo made an electronic calendar, and Information Technology teacher Liu Weijia praised it repeatedly, full of admiration.



On the first day of school, the opening ceremony solemnly honored the Winter Vacation Learning Model. On the second day, the school showcased some outstanding winter vacation assignments. Children stopped by the display boards to comment and appreciate. Thick stacks of assignments from the ninth-grade students bore witness to the diligence and achievements during the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon. In Class 501, student Zhong Tongyin painted a vivid dragon. She visited it several times a day to maintain it, afraid it might get damaged.



Not only has the holiday homework exhibition become a cultural feast and a prescribed menu for Huamei, but this semester the school will also launch a series of homework exhibitions. These will showcase the learning qualities and work styles demonstrated by all teachers and students in completing and grading assignments. The exhibitions will comprehensively display student assignments, including all assignments from each class and subject, written and practical assignments, in-class and after-class assignments, regular assignments and stage tests, PBL project inquiries, accuracy rates, and homework habits (learning qualities), independent completion and timely corrections (error collection), and so on.



Principal Deng Dengjiang proposed that "practicality, pragmatism, implementation, and effectiveness" should be the main criteria for judging work. In education, there are no trivial matters; every small matter should be handled well to achieve educational excellence. Sincerely hoping that parents and friends, together with the school, will cultivate good learning qualities in children through every detail, shape wholesome personalities, achieve outstanding academic results, and create a splendid chapter in life's symphony.
