中国传统文化博大精深、源远流长。我们不仅要了解传统节日的形式，更重要的是挖掘和探究传统节日背后所蕴藏的价值。

Chinese traditional culture is extensive and profound with a long history. We need to have knowledge of the traditional festivals, but what’s more important is to dig in and explore the hidden value underneath.

从上周开始，学校开始进行系列“月圆浓情话中秋”活动。大家在活动中，既领略到了中华文化的古韵古香，又能感受到中秋节的温馨氛围。

Since last week, we have  been carrying out a series of Mid-Autumn festival related activities. Everyone was immersed in the classical atmosphere of Chinese culture and the festival.

首先，进行的是“中文手抄报评比”活动，从K班到六年级的每名同学，都积极参与了这次活动。

First we have an activity of Chinese Hand-copied newspaper Evaluation, all K to G6 students participated in this activity.

大家在手抄报上展示了：“中秋节的来历”“中秋节的古诗词”“中秋节的习俗”……最感人的是很多同学在手抄报上表达了由于这次疫情未能和家人团聚，对亲人的思念。

They presented different contents such as “History of Mid-Autumn” “classical poetry about Mid-Autumn” “custom of Mid-Autumn” , what touched us was most of the students expressed their pities of the missing family reunion because of pandemic, and their reminiscence of their families.

我盼望的中秋节来了。我喜欢中秋节。因为可以玩、吃，好开心！中秋节，也是我的家人可以在一起的日子。我的爸爸、妈妈、姐姐，可以和我去外面玩。中秋节在农历15号。哈哈！太快了吧！这就是我盼望的中秋！

The Mid-Autumn I am looking forward to is coming.I like Mid-Autumn Festival, because we can have fun and eat, it is so happy.Min-Autumn festival is also the day for my families to get together. My father, mother ,sister can go out with me.Mid-Autumn is on the 15^th day in Chinese calendar, haha , so fast.This is the Mid-Autumn I am looking forward to.

Rui：《中秋节的秘密》

我偷偷地告诉你：中秋节是我亲爱的妈妈的生日哦！我想对妈妈说：“要是没有你，就没有我。从小你带着我工作、生活，一起去看这大大的世界！谢谢您的陪伴！”

I want to tell you a secret:” It is my dear Mum’s birthday on Mid-Autumn! I want to tell my mother: I won’t exist without you. You have been working ,living life and seeing the big world with me since I was young, thank you for your company.

师生共贺中秋，一起制作冰皮月饼，看到亲手制作的美味月饼，甭提有多开心呢！

Teachers and Students celebrated Mid-Autumn and made crystal mooncakes together, everyone was so happy looking at their hand-made mooncakes.

收获成长

本周我们还将参与学校举行的合唱比赛，班级也会进行各种“迎国庆“拍卖、跳蚤市场、做月饼、诗词才艺茶话会……等活动。大家是不是很期待呢？

This week we will have a chorus competition, all the classes will also carry out all kinds of activities to celebrate the national day, such as “auction, flea market, make a mooncake, tea party with poetry and talent show...” Are you looking forward to it?
