This week our attention has been on World Gratitude Day; an international celebration of thanks and gratefulness recognised around the world.
We began with an inspiring speech from Haven Yuan (P5A) during Monday's Flag Raising Ceremony. Haven told us about the many benefits of gratitude practice and how being thankful can lower stress levels, boost the immune system and even alleviate symptoms of depression.
BMH children went on to reflect on all the positive influences around them and spent time writing gratitude poems and making cards of thanks.
On Wednesday the children spirited around the campus, spreading kindness and thanks to all the important people who keep our school safe, clean and enjoyable. From security guards and teachers, to cleaners and board members - we expressed our gratitude to all members of our BMH family.
Why not embrace World Gratitude Day today and take this opportunity to ask yourself 'what am I grateful for?'.
