I really enjoy the campus life here. The teachers and students of HL International Academy are very friendly and cordial. I'm honored to be part of such a loving group. Secondly, the personalized education of HL focuses on each student to the greatest extent and meets the needs of different students. In terms of management, HL also gives us some freedom, which I think is more conducive to cultivating students' autonomy and self-discipline.

我十分喜欢享受这里的校园生活。华朗国际课程体系的老师与同学们都十分的友善、亲切，我很荣幸能成为这样一个有爱集体的一份子。其次，学校的个性化教育也最大程度地关注到了每个学生，满足了不同学生的需求。在管理方面，学校也给予了我们一定的自由，我认为这更有益于培养学生的自主性与自律性。

HL international Academy give me the passion toward it because of the prominent teachers, humorous students and excellent school life. Teachers in HL are equipped with professional knowledge and outstanding qualification and most of their lessons are attractive. for example, on Mr. Daniel’s lessons who is my math teachers, students were not only attracted by his energetic way of teaching but also love his generous behaviors which could be embodied from that he often give us awards. There are many teachers in HL like him. What’s more, there are many students who have passions toward study and gives other encouragement. Therefore, it could give us a feeling like being at home.

我对华朗国际课程体系充满热情的原因来自于魅力十足的老师、风趣友善的学生和精彩的校园生活。华朗的老师们具有专业素养和优秀资质，他们的课程大多颇具吸引力。例如，在我的数学老师Daniel先生的课上，大家不仅被他充满活力的教学方式所吸引，也喜爱他对待我们热情慷慨，这可以从他对我们长期的激励中感受到。学校里像他这样的老师有很多。更重要的是，我的很多同学们都对学习有热情，并愿意互相给予鼓励。因此，这里给了我们一种如家般的感觉。

Personally, I think HL International Academy is full of creativity and innovative thinking. HL also provided plentiful subjects for us to choose from. What I love most is the helpful environment and the relationship between classmates and teachers is really harmonious.

The subject that I enjoy most is A-level Maths. It is a big challenge for me. But it is not boring, because my classmates always help me passionately and patiently. And when I find the solution I will be excited and proud of myself.

我最喜欢的科目是A-level数学。数学对我来说是一个很大的挑战，但我却不会觉得它厌烦，因为我的同学们总是热情而耐心地帮助我。当我在学习中寻得解题思路时，我会很兴奋，也会为自己感到骄傲。

Math is definitely the subject which I enjoy the most，because I have outstanding talent about math like good self-study ability. I have achieved Honor Roll of Distinction in American Mathematics Competition 10. During the time when I am dealing with math questions, I often have a sense of achievement when finishing a question. I enjoy the logical step and happiness which studying math can give me.

数学绝对是我最喜欢的科目。我喜欢它，因为我有优秀的数学学习天赋，比如良好的自学能力。我在AMC10美国数学竞赛中也取得了优异成绩。每当我处理数学问题时，我都会从中获得相应的成就感。我喜欢学习数学带给我的逻辑思维历练与快乐。

My favorite subject is Global Perspective and Drama. I think these two courses are very creative. For example, Global Perspective can inspire students to think actively and analyze problems from different perspectives. In the Drama class, the overall atmosphere is very happy, the teacher will lead us to play different types of games and rehearse scripts. In the process, we learn a lot about how to play a character, and know deeply about ourselves.

我比较喜欢的学科是全球视野与戏剧。因为我认为这两门课都是极具创造力的，像全球视野课能够激发同学们去主动地思考和从不同角度去分析问题。而在戏剧课上，整体的氛围是十分愉快的，老师会带着我们玩不同类型的游戏和排练剧本。在这个过程中，我们对如何演绎好一个角色，以及对我们自己都有了更深层次的了解。

那些令他们印象深刻的寄宿生活

The dorm’s large space and kind monitor really surprise a lot since I have never seen this in many international schools in Shenzhen. It give students a field of their own which would let us feel free. The monitor always give us some notifications about the dorm on time which provide convince for us.

华朗极为宽敞的宿舍空间以及友善的宿管都让我印象深刻，因为我从来没有在深圳其他众多国际学校中看到过类似的情景。华朗的寄宿生活给了学生一个真正属于他们自己的空间，这让我们感到自由。而宿管也总能及时给予我们帮助和相应的便利。

What impressed me most about HL's boarding life was the free time for activities. For example, after class at 4:30, we can have enough time to do sports, dance and do things we like.

华朗的寄宿生活让我最印象深刻的就是能有充分的自由活动时间。比方说4点半下课后以后，我们有充足的时间去运动、跳舞、以及做自己喜欢的事情。

When the final exams are coming, most of us got up early and came to the classroom to review. For me, to review individually is kind of boring. But my classmates give me an incentive to start revision. We got up at 5:30 am and came to the classroom at 6:30 am to start revision until the beginning of the first class.

当期末考试来临的时候，我们大多数人都早早从宿舍起床来到教室复习。对我来说，一个人复习有点枯燥。但集体生活能让享受到同学们的激励与陪伴。我们五点半一同起床，六点半就来到教室开始复习，一直持续到第一节课开始。

对于不少学生来说，

高中的全寄宿生活也是一种全新的挑战。

在以知识为中心转为以学生为中心的时代，

Please give a piece of advice to the upcoming students.

请给即将入学的学弟学妹们一点建议吧！

If you want to take an international route, you must have a good English foundation! This is the secret that will keep you on top of every subject! If you want to improve your English, read and speak as much as possible. Don't be afraid to take the initiative to talk to foreign teachers. They are very friendly and willing to talk to students. Finally, I wish all students can write their own colorful future in HL!

如果是要走国际路线，英语基础一定要打好！这是能让你在每门课都游刃有余的秘诀！想要提高英语的话，一定要多看、多读、多说。不要害怕去主动跟外教交流，他们人都十分友善也很愿意与学生们多交谈。最后，祝愿学弟学妹们都能在华朗书写自己的缤纷未来！

I suggest the upcoming students recite and memorize more words. Because whatever the class or the IGCSE and A level exams, all of these are English. So the vocabulary is really important. It could affect your grade directly. In addition, the preview is also important. Most of our teachers are foreign teachers. So they might speak quickly sometimes and you might not know the meaning of some words. And when you check the meaning of the words, teachers might move on to the next div. But if you preview it, you can follow teachers easily and remember firmly.

我建议即将入读的同学们多背诵和记忆单词。因为无论学习什么课程，参加IGCSE和A-Level考试，都需要良好的英语能力。所以作为基础的词汇真的很重要，它会直接影响你的成绩。此外，预习也很重要。我们绝大多数老师都是外籍教师，因此有时候你可能会跟不上他们的语速。当你查阅单词意思试图理解刚刚老师讲课内容时，老师可能已经进入到了下一部分。但是如果你能提前预习，那么你就可以更好地跟随老师，知识也能记得更牢固。

What I really want to advise the upcoming students is that feel free to ask our teachers any question you have! Our teachers are all very kind and helpful. Have fun at Hualang while pay attention to your GPA would improve your school life.
