我们第一次有了如此多的时间与家人亲密共处；

我们第一次有了如此多的时间与书相伴……

“一日不读书，尘生其中；两日不读书，言语乏味；三日不读书，面目可憎”。

书，是我们智慧的源泉，凭借它，我们竟能以区区七尺之躯，短短百年光景，思接千载，神游万仞。

书，是我们一生的挚友，“书卷多情似故人，晨昏忧乐每相亲”，当我们临终之时，使我们不舍的除了至亲好友，一定还有若干知己好书。

书，更是慰藉我们灵魂，给予我们力量的良药，“书犹药也，善读之可以医愚”，喜爱读书, 就等于把生活中寂寞无聊的时光转换成了莫大的精神享受时刻。

书，还是传承文明与文化的载体，也是不同民族和文化间交流对话的窗口。以书传道，以文化人，从百邦一家的教育梦想到人类命运共同体的伟大愿景，书早已成为时代的生命，梦想的阳光。

The novel pandemic Corona Virus has been wildly spread, causing anxiety, fear and seems to make the world move at a crawl

It seems:

This is our first time to spend large amounts of time with our family members;

This is our first time to talk to ourselves in depth;

This is our first time to have such a great opportunity to talk to our friends;

This is our first time to be richly rewarded with our time with books’ company.

Books are a rich source of wisdom, to recall the very best moments in history where a myriad of thoughts crowd into a glimpse through time.

Books are a lifelong companion - it is often like an old friend with great intimacy. When our life approaches to the end, friends and family members are the most grieved. However, there also must be several books that we remember well that cannot tear us apart.

Books can comfort and lift up our spirits as well like a dose of healthy medicine. The love of reading is the same as transforming your moments of boredom and loneliness into an experience for the soul.

Books, the carrier of legacies and cultures, the bridge across different nationalities and civilisations, empower us with a better and deeper understanding of one another. Books enlighten, engage and empower us. From a simple educational dream to unite us all to a shared vision of uniting all the humankind and humanity, books, have already become a vivid life in our times and irresistible sunshine in our dreams.
