Students will practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking by completing a range of different activities. This will help them to improve both their academic English and their creativity in their writing and speaking. Reading non-fiction and fiction will help improve their understanding of the world. It will build their vocabulary allowing them to flourish in all subjects. It should also build their confidence in using English as they will be discussing a range of different issues.

Learning the Chinese language and culture helps students to deepen their understanding of the local culture while receiving an international education. During the Summer Camp, we not only study different genres of fiction texts and non-literary texts but also develop students' skills in building a learning approach through thematic activities, including research skills, thinking skills, communication skills, social skills, and self-management skills. Through inquiry-based learning practices, students will develop an interest in and the ability to identify information and analyze texts for an enriching summer camp experience.

Students will complete a range of geography activities to promote their understanding of where they are in terms of space and place and to consider the globalized world. This will be done in conjunction with a focus on maps, and the trans-disciplinary skill of drawing to scale. Studying a subject in English will allow them to improve all around in every aspect.
