My answer is: "Of course, I would choose ISA!" This was a common choice for me and my family after researching a number of quality international schools in the Wuhan area. Simply put, there are three reasons: 

(1) First-class facilities and a stunning campus;

(2) Excellent leadership peers;

(3) A lifetime of experience. 

Let me expand on my reasoning:

1. First-class facilities and a beautiful campus: A full-size grass football pitch, modern school buildings, and laboratories, an indoor basketball court built to NBA standards, a digital library, state-of-the-art dormitories, a swimming pool, a climbing wall, etc., all of which show that "ISA is truly an international school". The extent of the facilities and the beauty of the campus are what make it exceptional, and who wouldn't be attracted to it?

2. Excellent leadership: With an excellent school leader and well-qualified teaching staff, ISA seems to have invited all the excellent best Chinese and foreign teachers from around the world. They not only maintain a very high quality of teaching but also take care of the individual learning needs of students, thanks to a very low teacher-student ratio. All this ensures that ISA will always be one of the best schools even if there’s more competition from other schools in the future.

A lifetime of experience: My mother was particularly concerned during the initial contact and visited the school at various times, to make sure that she made the best choice regarding my education and future. My mother believes that the learning experience in high school is as important as the final outcome.

She wanted my high school years to be memorable - not simply geared toward memorization, drills, and test-taking,  but instead a truly international learning experience, one that includes understanding the rules of the world, researching overseas universities, building a team, exploring professional careers and planning for further education. I believe that the quality resources and outstanding students will eventually come together to make ISA the most competitive international school in Central China and beyond.

1. The curriculum: It can be said that the curriculum is very sophisticated. The curriculum schedule of the summer camp takes into account the learning progress and basic ability of each student, and differentiated teaching enables almost every student to match their own courses. We have pre Calculus, which is an important course for AP in the first year of high school. Bruce's class was very wonderful, and I developed a keen interest in it after just one week's study. In order to have a better and deeper understanding of this subject, I bought Princeton Calculus online for further study, hoping to master the principle and gain fun as soon as possible.

In terms of English learning, there are a large number of professional courses to help us improve our English application ability and test taking in multiple dimensions, such as "Reading and Writing", "TOEFL", "Vocabulary" and other courses. The first thing to conquer when choosing an international route is English. Our senior student got a good score of TOEFL 105 and IELTS 8 in her first year of high school, which is also my goal.

At the same time, ISA also opened AMC mathematics competition and Physics competition courses for us. I thought I could beat the competition in maths, but I was met with a strong challenger in the first class, so I have to study hard at night to hold my position as a member of the study committee.

Project research is an effective way to exercise students' ability of team assistance, information retrieval, research and analysis, and induction and summary, and it is also an important part of later university application. The school offers: 3D printer design, autonomous intelligent car and AI-controlled six-axis robot, I choose 3D printer design, and the class will start next week, I am really looking forward to it.

Finally, how can the school be separated from sports, how can the sweat of youth be left only in the classroom, but also in the tennis court, basketball hall, football field! ISA's sports facilities are first-class, and there are many sports courses offered during the summer camp, such as basketball, football and badminton. I will not say anything about the routine.

Here is a special introduction to the "Ultimate Frisbee" course that I participate in at present, which is an emerging sports competition. A word to sum up ISA's summer camp is difficult, content, and more fun. I believe that the students who see the class schedule will ignite the interest in exploration and passion for learning!

2. Professionalism and personal staff: The three words I would use to describe the staff are professional, enthusiastic and accommodating! During my first week at ISA, I was impressed by the personalities of the teachers. The teachers showed a lot of patience toward the new students who were not used to English-medium of instruction, and took great pains to explain the meaning of the terms. Instead of just passing on their knowledge in a dry manner, they would also have fun and enrich the class with jokes and laughter. After their respective classes, the teachers are always in the office, available for students to ask questions.

3. Comfortable campus facilities: First of all, I would like to give a big shout-out to the dorm teachers. The schedule helped me to maintain a good study-life balance, thereby helping me to quickly become integrated into campus life. The good view, comfortable room-temperature, 24-hour hot water supply, laundry service, fluffy mattresses, and plenty of storage space all helped me to enjoy each day of my stay. However, I would like to say something about the food at ISA. I was a food enthusiast in Guanggu during my junior high school years, and I love kebabs and Xiangyang beef noodles, but while the food at ISA is hearty, it’s a bit too healthy for me!
