2021年东京奥运今天开幕，“更快、更高、更强”的奥林匹克精神再次唤醒我们对运动的热情，作为提倡“体教合一”的港澳子弟学校，我们将会如何透过体育进行教学？

我们都知道，运动不容易作为终身职业，要在竞技场上获得名次也绝非易事，但是我们每一位，都能通过平常的运动锻炼，培养坚毅、认真和不怕困难的精神。

这与广州暨大港澳子弟学校郑景亮先生Kingsir提出的【运动苗圃】教育理念是一致的，旨在让学生在孩童时代开始，施行结合游戏的健体教育，通过十五年一贯制的培养，让学生锻炼身体机能，建立其运动的习惯，学校将更好地落实体教合一。

我是业余马拉松跑手，我个人的目标是三小时内完成全程马拉松。

I am an amateur marathon runner.

My personal goal is to complete the full marathon within three hours. 

在训练的过程中，难免会有觉得困难，想放弃的时候，但我仍然坚持下去，继续训练，这锻练我锲而不舍的精神。

我祝中国体育代表团以及香港体育代表团有最佳状态，获得好成绩。

In the process of training, I will inevitably find it difficult and want to give up. I still stick to it and continue training.This also exercises my perseverance. 

This year is the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. I hereby wish athletes from China and Hong Kong can keep the body of the best form, perform their best and getting good results.

篮球带给我的是一种精神，一直永不放弃的体育精神。

What basketball brings to me is a spirit, sportsmanship that never says die. 

篮球运动伴随着我的整个学生时代，在此期间流过汗、流过泪，甚至流过血，但从没放弃，最终我获得篮球二级运动员，篮球二级裁判员。

在此对即将参加奥运会的中国健儿们，预祝你们旗开得胜，赛出自己最佳水平。

Basketball has been with me throughout my school life. 

I got the second level athletic in basketball and the second level in basketball referees. I had shed sweat, tears, and even blood during this period, but I never give up. 

Here for the Chinese athletes who will participate in the Tokyo Olympic 2021, I hope you all have a successful outcome,to give your best performance in front of a worldwide audience. 

我热爱运动。在运动中，我获得了快乐，突破了自我，体验到了前所未有的奇妙经历，交到了意气相投的朋友。

I like sports. 

In sports,I gained happiness, broke myself,

experienced unprecedented

wonderful experiences, and made congenial friends. 

希望奥运健儿保护好自己，做好防护，积极应对.为国出征，本就是荣誉之至，所以，无论结果，你们都是我们心目中最了不起的英雄！

I hope Olympic athletes first protect yourselves, do a good job of protection，actively respond to the most spirited.It is an honor to fight for the country, so, no matter the result, you are the greatest heroes in our mind! 

在拿到黑带之前，我开始明白空手道的好处，不仅仅是自卫或战斗，而是一种生活方式。

Much later before getting my Black Belt I started to understand the benefits of Karate not just to self defence or fight but a way of life.

我看了李小龙的电影《龙争虎斗》，就迷上了武术，想学习功夫。但当时没有功夫课，只有柔道或空手道。这项运动能建立自信、肌肉调和、精神、自我姿势、良好行为和纪律。我相信，对于其他运动来说，情况也是如此，就是帮助孩子们成长，找到自己的路，甚至鼓励他们进一步参加比赛，并采取下一步行动，参加奥运会。 

Martial Arts was my main interest after watching the Bruce Lee movie ‘Enter The Dragon’ and became hooked and wanted to learn Kung Fu. Building self confidence, muscle toning, spirit, self posture, good behaviour and discipline.

I believe this goes the same for other sports Is to help kids grow and find their path and even give them the encouragement to take it further going into competitions and taking the next step to compete into the Olympics. 

我从中学开始就很喜欢看体育竞技比赛，特别是排球赛事。

I’ve enjoyed watching the sports events since I was a secondary student, particularly the 

volleyball matches. 

每一场比赛，中国女排的姑娘们都在场上坚守自己的位置，团结一致，奋力一搏。

在学校里，也不乏如排球这样需要团队合作的体育活动，希望学生们能够通过体育锻炼收获友谊，在团队体育比赛中学会团结一致。

祝愿中国队的奥运健儿们能够在本届奥运会中再创辉煌，平安归来！

In every match, the athletes of the Chinese women's volleyball team united and fought hard in their position on the court. 

Volleyball is one of the team sports activities in school. 

Simultaneously, it is envisaged that children would develop friendships from physical exercise and learn to unite in team sports events.

Wish the Olympic athletes of our Chinese team can create brilliance in this Olympic Games and return safely!
