ASJ第一届校家委合影

家长是学校的重要合作伙伴，而家委会是代表家长和学校沟通的重要桥梁。经过前期家长们的踊跃自荐报名和家校之间的沟通交流，我们从家长前期提交的将近四十份申请中，综合考虑各方面原因，最终选定9位家长，成为学校首届校家委成员。在秋天的最后一个节气“霜降”到来之前，广州暨大港澳子弟学校首届学校家长委员会成立啦！

Parents are important partners of the school, and the Parent Advisory Council give parents chances to participate in the school management in a democratic manner. In the early stage, there were enthusiastic self-recommendation and the communication between families and ASJ. Finally, we selected 9 members from nearly 40 applications submitted by parents after considering various factors comprehensively. The first batch of PAC of the Affiliated School of Jinan University for Hong Kong and Macau Students was established before the arrival of the last solar term of autumn, "Frost's Descent".

10月22日，新“家”人来到ASJ，与总校长郑景亮先生，执行校长封岩女士，教学总监杨丽红老师，学生发展中心主任郑伟老师，中学部主任周晓鹏老师和小学部主任杨瓅眉老师会面，召开首届家委会会议，并明确校家委会工作的指导思想、成员产生的组织形式，以及权利、义务和职能。

On October 22nd, these new family members visited ASJ and had a meeting with Chief Principal Cheng King Leung, Executive Principal Jessica Feng, Academic Director Audrey Yang, Director of Middle School Department Jason Zhou, and Director of Primary Department Grace Yang to ascertain the guiding ideology, the rights, obligations and functions of PAC. PACs are forums within each school community to discuss matters affecting the school and the education of the students.

会议当天，ASJ为每一位校家委准备了聘书和小礼物，由总校长郑景亮先生为家委颁发聘书，代表着第一届家委会正式成立。

ASJ prepared letters of appointment and small gifts for each member. Chief Principal Cheng King Leung issued letters of appointment for each member and announced the official establishment of the first batch of PAC of ASJ.

经过校家委9名成员自主讨论后，确定校家委组织架构和各专项小组的职能。未来，校家委会将积极参与广州暨大港澳子弟学校的事项决定、校园活动和校园文化的创建，充分发挥其作为学校和家长之间的纽带作用，让学校教育和家庭教育形成合力，共建积极的校园环境和家庭环境，一起让教育、让成长变得更美好。

After independent discussion by 9 members of the PAC, the organizational structure of the PAC and the functions of each group were determined. Every member will perform his / her duties in different affairs. In the future, the PAC will actively participate in the schools’ decisions, campus activities and the creation of campus culture. PAC will also give full play to the role of the bond between schools and parents so that the parents and the school can form a joint force and create a harmonious educational environment for students.

首届校家委会成员介绍 Introduction

朱智廉先生-会长

美国伯克利工商管理硕士。

现任一香港外贸公司负责人，常驻广州。过去20多年，在国内、香港、美国和荷兰从事过企业财务管理和咨询科技的工作。最近开始学习弹钢琴和喜欢上教孩子英文。以后希望可以花更多的时间从事与教育、写作、设计和品牌创立相关的工作。

Graduated with MBA from UC Berkeley. Living in Guangzhou, currently leading a Hong Kong-based trading firm. With 20+ years of work experience in corporate financial management and information technology across Mainland, Hong Kong, the US, and Holland. Most recently, starting to learn the piano and taking up an interest in teaching children English. Hope to be able to spend more time in education-related work, writing, design, and brand-building in the future.

黄玉婷女士-副会长

目前是“以为可以靠颜值，结果只能拼实力”的G7-1班思祖的妈妈。我笃信学无止境，所以在广州大学中文系本科毕业后我攻读了工商管理专业并获得亚洲城市大学工商管理硕士学位，现在北京大学经济学院进修现代管理与国学。目前在一家香港上市的房地产公司负责行政管理工作。本人秉持的教育理念是“不以分数高低定优劣，需按德才兼备论成败。”这次非常感谢校方对我的信任，荣幸地成为了首届校家委的一员。今后我将认真履行家委职责，与其他家委们一起积极协助配合学校工作，为孩子、家长们提供服务，一起共筑美好的中国梦。

姚雅文女士-秘书长

我的两位孩子们都在ASJ读书。我来自美丽的荔枝之乡——增城，热爱阅读，旅游，咖啡，美食……！我的教育理念是：与孩子共同成长，关注家长自身的完善，学会向孩子学习！很荣幸能成为校家委的成员之一，我会尽最大努力做好家长和学校之间的桥梁，希望大家多多指教！

黄丽芳女士-财务长

我是一位有着3个孩子的普通平凡的妈妈，热情稳重，责任心强，非常热爱孩子和教育事业，我愿意为了孩子改变自己，一直努力地走在学习的路上，很荣幸加入校家委会，家委会是学校、老师与家长沟通的桥梁和纽带,我愿意出我的一份微薄之力,与大家共进共勉!

张翔女士-外部资源事务小组

有二十多年的媒体工作经历，曾在广西电视台、广州电视台、广东电视台任职，从事过节目主持、导演、制片、频道管理和和节目版权交易等工作，现任职于广州麦田文化，从事影视版权交易、自媒体和书店运营。

刘翠媚女士-环境、健康与安全小组

我既是ASJ幼儿园孩子的一位妈妈，也是ASJ五年级的语文和探究课老师，很荣幸今年能加入第一届家委会。

我一直在香港的国际学校工作，深受IB文化的影响，立志要成为胸襟开阔的终生学习者。加入家委会后，我会跟大家一起学习，努力把学校建设成一个更好的学习社区！

我来自河南郑州，很高兴成为家委成员，我的教育理念：接纳陪伴欣赏等待，希望我能为学校的发展贡献一份力量，也希望学校以终为始，莫忘初心！

我的两位孩子分别在ASJ中学部和小学部读书，我曾经是一名财务，目前是家庭主妇，性格热情开朗。

非常荣幸成为首届校家委会成员。作为母亲这个岗位我已经坚守了22年。中国、英国，公立、私立、民办的幼儿园、小、中、大学，历经18个办学机构以上。当然，这些只是证明我们经历丰富，并不代表经验丰富，唯一能证明我是一个现代版的“孟母”。

但我们终究是很幸运的，因为：众里寻他千百度，蓦然回首，那人却在灯火阑珊处。

做了家委多年，始终孜孜不倦，原因只有一个，关注孩子的成长，不如争取机会参与、理解、支持、配合学校的所有的活动。

我们学校是一个全新的港澳子弟学校，无可比性，更有特殊性，所以唯有齐心合力才能做到更好，让我们一起努力吧，加油！

Remarks‍‍

我想借此机会向ASJ的所有家长先说几句话。

1. 我们每个家委都有着不同的背景和阅历，但我们同有一颗希望帮助学校的心。在具有历史性的开校第一个学年，我们会竭尽所能实现家校协调，助力学生成长，服务家长，把工作做好。

2. 我们家委会的权利是学校章程赋予的，是神圣的，但更多的是一种责任、职责。我们家委本身也是家长，但当我们在履行家委的职责时，我们是有所为，有所不为。不管是与学校沟通时，或是与广大家长讨论时，我们都会实事求是，不偏不倚，秉公办理。我相信这也是各位家长希望看到的一种氛围和文化。

3. 家委会现任9位成员能力和时间是有限的。学校的未来发展，需要所有家长的参与，我鼓励所有家长参与学校的活动，多给意见，多跟学校和家委会沟通。我们在很快的未来，会拟订好这学年的具体计划，也会通过多种途径主动跟各位家长接触沟通。

I'd like to take this opportunity to share a few remarks with all ASJ parents.

First of all, members of the Parent Advisory Council have different background and life experiences, but we all share the same one goal – to help our school in all ways possible. In this historic first year of the founding of our school, we are fully committed to carrying out our responsibilities, in assisting our school and servicing our parents.

Secondly, the authority of the PAC is solemnly granted by school constitution, and it comes with utmost responsibility and duty. PAC members are also parents; but when we need to act in our PAC capacity, whether in working with our school or parents, we will do so in an unbiased, fact-based manner, and in accordance with our granted authority, nothing more and nothing less. This is the culture I believe our ASJ parents would value.

Lastly, the 9 members of the PAC cannot do it alone. The success of our school requires a lot of support from all ASJ parents. I encourage parents to participate in school events and projects, engage in frequent dialogues with the school and PAC, and provide us with your valuable feedback. We are working to complete our PAC plan for the school year and will reach out to parents shortly through different communication channels.
