中国学礼贤 文韵知智——中国传统文化探究成果展

CHINESE  


China has a long history with deep cultural roots that remain fresh and relevant to this day. This semester, we have examined Chinese traditional culture in the Chinese elective courses, with a view to experiencing the Chinese classics, and learning from literacy masters to develop our understanding of traditional culture. This will help our students to better appreciate their cultural heritage and so enrich their personalities.

中华文化源远流长,底蕴丰富,流转千年而历久弥新。本学期,中文选修课开展了中国传统文化探究式学习,以期品国学、敬圣贤、赏文韵、修智识,让爱莎天河学子在体悟中国传统文化的路上遇见更好的自己。





EXHIBITION

On the morning of June 9th, students in the Chinese elective class presented a wonderful cultural Chinese traditional culture inquiry exhibition to the teachers and students at the school. The exhibition was divided into two parts: an exhibition board display and a stage show.

6月9日上午,中文选修班的学生为全校师生带来了一场精彩纷呈的中国传统文化探究成果展。本次成果展分为展板展示和舞台汇演两个部分。


Exhibition & Display 展板展示 

The display had five themes: Chinese Story, Solar Terms and Festivals, Chinese Characters, Chinese Poems, and Lingnan Culture. The elaborately designed display boards showed the students' thinking, understanding, and re-creation of these five themes. Students from each inquiry team also introduced the inquiry process and their achievements to their classmates in a confident, humorous and patient manner. They also prepared quizzes and small gifts for their audiences. The students who participated in this exhibition showed great enthusiasm. They were eager to ask questions in the Q & A session, and the atmosphere in the MPR was warm and lively.

展板展示分中华故事、节气节日、汉字符号、中华诗歌、岭南文化五个主题进行展示。一块块精心设计的展板展示着同学们对这五大文化主题的发现、思考、理解和再创作作品。每个探究小组的同学还会向前来参观的同学老师介绍本组探究的过程和成果,他们一个个自信幽默、耐心从容,还准备了问答题和小奖品与观众互动。参观的同学们听得兴致盎然又认真投入,在问答环节跃跃欲试,现场气氛格外热烈。


THEME 1主题一

 Chinese Story 中华故事 

From the beginning of our inquiry, we understood the basic elements of time, place, and characters in the story through reading and analysis of different stories. In the process of writing a short story in the later period of our study, we reviewed our understanding of the structure of the story. After the reading of stories from genres such as mythology and fairy tale, we made story mind maps and created interesting picture books.

前期我们通过对不同故事的阅读分析,理解故事里的时间、地点、人物等基本要素。后期在创作小故事的过程中,我们巩固对故事结构的理解。通过神话故事、童话故事等多类故事的阅读,制作有条理的思维导图,仿写有趣的绘本故事。


THEME 2 主题二

 Solar Terms and Festivals 节气节日  

This semester we explored the 24 solar terms and the related customs in areas such as: climate, farming, lifestyle and games, we carried out activities such as observation of nature, traditional handcrafts, independent inquiry, independent creation, and daily penetration. Ancient poetry recitation, picture book reading, and writing for fun were also included.

本学期我们体验式学习了二十四节气的习俗文化、气候、农耕、节气生活和游戏,开展了自然观察、传统手工体验、自主探究、自主创作和日常渗透等活动,我们还进行了相关的古诗朗诵、绘本阅读和趣味写作等语言学习。

THEME 3 主题三

Chinese Characters 汉字符号 

This semester we gained a preliminary understanding of the historical development of Chinese characters through the inquiry and study of the "Chinese Character Thinking" course. We learned more about the characteristics of pictographs and stimulated the enthusiasm of students for learning Chinese characters.

本学期我们通过“汉字思维”课程的探究学习,对中国文字的历史发展有了一个初步的认识,了解了象形字的特点与其趣味性,激发了对汉字文化的学习热情。


THEME 4 主题四

Chinese Poems 中华诗歌  

The focus of the inquiry this semester was to transcend the differences of time, space and culture, and share the poet's unique perception of the world through examples of the poet’s work and the study of the poet’s historical background. We set the poet's life as our starting point, and then extended this to a study of their poems so that students could appreciate the unique charm and context of the poetry.

本学期我们的探究中心思想是读者通过对诗人的个人表达以及其所处的时代背景的研究,可以超越时空、跨越文化的差异,分享诗人对这个世界的独特感知。我们以诗人的生平为切入点,继而延伸到诗歌类型的学习,使学生感受诗歌的魅力。

THEME 5主题五

Lingnan Culture 岭南文化 

In the inquiry and learning of Lingnan Culture this semester, we made full use of the advantages of the rich local resources, in order to fully understanded the culture in a life situation. In this way, we created a solid foundation for sharing and promoting Lingnan Culture!

本学期我们在“岭南文化”的探究学习中,充分利用了本地资源的优势,在生活中了解,在现实中学习,又把习得的文化知识运用到实践中去,相辅相成,为继承与弘扬岭南文化打下了坚实的基础!



Stage show 舞台汇演

The performances staged this semester included the musical Calabash Brothers, the drama The Beauty of the Season, the drama Chinese Adam, the musical drama ‘We are together’, the ancient Chinese chat ‘Water Melody’, Tea Art and Guzheng Performances, etc. These vivid and exciting performances brought all the teachers and students into the exciting fantasy worlds of the Calabash brothers, or showed them the beautiful farming scenes of the rotation of the four seasons, sewing seeds in spring and bringing in the harvest in autumn. Sometimes they showed us the cute animal world, sometimes they traveled through heaven and earth in order to enjoy the moon or the poems of the great poet Su Shi. Sometimes they followed the elegant and pure Guzheng sounds to enter the quiet tearoom, with its fragrance of tea, overflowing and refreshin... In the end, the song was done, and the whole performance was ended successfully, leaving all the audiences wish to continue the performances.

舞台汇演节目有音乐剧《葫芦兄弟》、歌舞《时节之美》、话剧《盘古开天》、唱跳《我们在一起》、吟诵《水调歌头》、茶艺和古筝演奏《诗情茶意》等,全校师生在舞台上演员们的带领下,时而走进奇幻活泼的葫芦娃世界,时而跟随广角镜头俯瞰四季轮转、春播秋收的美丽农耕场景,时而穿越回盘古开天创世的远古现场,时而闯进可爱萌动的动物世界,时而穿梭于明月高悬的天上人间,与苏轼一起赏月唱词、观歌舞翩跹,时而循着素雅清澈的古筝声、声情并茂的吟诵声步入悠然宁静的茶室,只觉茶香四溢、神清气爽……最后曲终茶尽,整台表演在同学们的意犹未尽中圆满结束。


During this semester's Chinese traditional culture inquiry process, ISA Tianhe students have achieved tremendous growth and fully demonstrated the IB characteristics of inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk-takers and reflective learners. For a tree to grow tall, a strong and solid root is essential. Traditional Chinese culture is the root of the Chinese nation, and we can only grow strong by learning about our roots. Although the inquiry exhibition has ended, the students of ISA Tianhe will continue to move forward in the exploration and practice of traditional Chinese culture.

在本学期的中国传统文化探究学习之旅中,爱莎天河学子收获了令人惊喜的成长,充分展现了IB积极探究、勤于思考、善于交流、勇于尝试、及时反思的学习者特质。“求木之长者,必固其根本”,中国传统文化是中华民族的根,培根固本方能茁壮成长。探究成果展虽已结束,但是对中国传统文化的探究和践行,爱莎学子将会向更高更远的目标继续前行!
