幼儿园暑期班欢乐集会

EY Summer Assembly

With an exciting atmosphere, both the teachers and children embarked on their summer camp. The children were divided into the Panda, Koala, and Kangaroo classes. 

在大家的期待中，我们开启了夏令营。孩子们被分为熊猫班、考拉班和袋鼠班。

Under the guidance of the teachers, the children collectively established classroom rules and completed a “Be Kind” puzzle during their art class. 

在老师的引导下，孩子们集体制定了课堂规则，并在美术课上完成了"友善"拼图。这种方式能够形成和谐、相互尊重的班级文化，帮助孩子们在夏令营的学习中更好地交流协作。

In Chinese class, the children explored their surnames by studying and reciting "Hundred Family Surnames".  They also studied Quiet Night Thoughts and the Chinese zodiac. And the teacher used animations, pictures, recitations, and dance to engage children in learning about the poem's content. 

在中文课上，孩子们通过学习和背诵《百家姓》探索了自己的姓氏，此外他们还学习了古诗《静夜思》和十二生肖。老师还利用动画、图片、朗诵和舞蹈的形式让孩子们参与到诗歌内容的学习中。一起看视频中孩子们的表现吧！

校长课堂

Lessons from the Head of School

Mr. Paul was not only our Head of School, but also taught some fun Maths and Art activities. He also showed his love of Music by teaching all of the students some fun songs. During the weekly assemblies he had all the students, teachers and even the parents up on their feet and joining in.

本次暑期班，Mr. Paul不仅是我们的校长，还成为了同学们在这个夏日的音乐老师。课上，他教授学生唱有趣的歌曲，表达对音乐的热爱。在每周的集会上，他也有办法让所有的学生、老师甚至家长都起身参与其中。

He left us with great memories: he was singing while playing the guitar in class and interacting with the students during class activities. 

Paul校长亲力亲为，在课堂上边弹吉边唱歌、在活动中与学生亲切互动，给孩子们留下了美好的回忆！

In other music classes, our Academy teachers led the students to learn about the musical notes and how to make a melody. Students explored the magic of the musical notes and enjoyed the unique rhythm that music brings! Let's look forward to the next class together!

在其它音乐课上，来自爱莎国际学苑的老师带领着学生从音符的起航开始，在简短的课程中学会如何使旋律动听，感受音乐的力量！而学生们则徜徉在音乐的海洋里，探索着音符之间的魔力，享受音乐带来的独特韵律！最后让我们一起期待更多精彩课堂吧！

STEAM课程

STEAM Program

The Summer school STEAM program gained a lot of attention from students as it lead them to learn and develop their understanding of STEAM in real life while they were involved in making working models every week with a given theme.

这次的暑期班STEAM课程受到学生的广泛喜爱，因为学生在理论学习之后，结合每周不同的课程主题动手制作模型，能够更深入地学习并深化对STEAM这门学科的理解。

They started off with science theme in the first week where students explored the basic mechanism behind magnets and its applications in real life. In the second week, they focused on Engineering and green energy where students extended their research from magnets to Electric vehicles, power turbines, greenhouse gases and wind mill structures. Third week they focused on automation where students did research into automation in different industries and service sectors. 

科学主题开启了STEAM课程第一周的学习，学生们探索了磁铁背后的基本原理及其在现实生活中的应用。第二周的学习重点放在工程与绿色能源。这一周，学生从研究磁铁扩展到探索电动汽车、动力涡轮机、温室气体以及风车结构的背后原理。第三周，学生主要学习了自动化的知识，对不同行业以及服务部门的自动化进行了研究。

They concluded this unit with a presentation on an automation idea in real life. There were many ideas which can potentially be realized in near future.

单元学习的最后，学生通过演讲更加详细地了解了现实生活中部分自动化理念的实际应用。相信在这些充满潜力与创造力的学生身上，他们的想法终有一天能够化为现实！

拓展游泳课

Swimming Lessons

In terms of sports, the summer swimming lessons were also a highlight of the summer program. This summer, the swimming lessons were based on the children's water sense development.

炎炎夏日中，游泳课也是众多孩子们期待的暑期班课程之一！这个暑假的教学内容主要是以小朋友的水感培养为基础。  

The goal of the training for younger children in the program is to teach water breathing, leg movements, and body balance techniques. Some self-rescue skills and escape from water hazards are included.

低年级的小朋友在训练中的首要训练目标是水中换气，踢水以及动态平衡性的技术学习，还包括一些自救技能和水中危险的逃生训练。

Students in higher grades need to master more specialized swimming positions. They strengthen their proficiency in breaststroke, freestyle, and move through the water faster.

高年级的孩子，则更加专注于掌握专业泳姿。他们在课堂中，不断巩固蛙泳、自由泳的动作协调性，并不断进行速度练习，一遍遍尝试游得更快。
