上学期，CBIS凭借良好的双语学习氛围与优越的教学环境，成功获得剑桥英语考试中心的认可成为考场之一。

At CBIS, we see foreign language as a tool to acquire new knowledge and understanding of the world. We use the immersion teaching method, focusing on creating a student-centered interactive English learning environment. The aim of this is to help our students improve their comprehensive literacy of listening, speaking, reading and writing, to cultivate their critical thinking ability.

Last semester, at CBIS, we successfully received the recognition from the Cambridge English Test Centre and became an examination center due to our excellent bilingual learning and teaching environment. 

2月4日上午，山语湖双语学校作为剑桥英语测试考场，举行了KET英语等级测试，共46名学生报考了本次考试。

On Feb 4th, CBIS held our first KET test. There were a total of 46 students registered for the test.

本次考试成绩将在一个半月后揭晓，衷心祝愿每位考生都能获得令人满意的结果，取得佳绩。

双语教育让孩子们不仅仅掌握一门语言，更重要的是学会用不同的语言去思考生活、去探索世界、去表现自我。未来我校将继续提高英语教学质量水平，为每位CBIS学子提供优越的双语学习氛围。

The results of the examination will be announced in one and a half months. We have faith in the students that they have done their best and learned from this experience.

Bilingual education enables our students to master a language, and learn to explore the world, expressing themselves in different ways. In the future, we will continue to better the quality of English taught in our school to provide every CBIS student with excellent bilingual learning experiences.
