Grade 2 students had the opportunity to go on the school's first post-pandemic class outing! 

二年级的学生参加了学校疫情后的第一次校外出游。

Students were invited to visit the Dongguan TV station for a glimpse of ‘behind-the-screens’, exploring the workplace of all the presenters they see on TV. Students discovered that not only are there presenters, but a whole team that supports them. 

学生们受邀参观东莞电视台，一“窥”幕后，探索在电视上看到的主持人的工作场所。学生们发现，不仅有主持人，还有一个团队在幕后提供支持。

As their unit on Sharing the Planet takes them further into the particulars of news reporting on the state of various endangered animals and their declining habitats, students gained first-hand experience of what it was like to be in front of the cameras, use a green screen in the studio, and present on stage. 

在“分享地球”这一单元中，学生们进一步了解了各种濒危动物及其栖息地状况的新闻报道，他们获得了在镜头前、在演播室使用绿色屏幕以及在舞台上展示的经验。

Students had the chance to learn presentation skills from a real-life TV presenter who gave a brief how-to of presenting: strong posture, eye contact, vocal projection, etc., before putting their newfound skills to the test.

主持人简要介绍了一些演讲技巧，比如强有力的姿势、眼神交流、声音投射等，接着学生们学习并试验。
