"Mother Earth is clearly urging a call to action. Nature is suffering. Oceans filling with plastic and turning more acidic. Extreme heat, wildfires and floods, have affected millions of people.

地球母亲正在明白无误地敦促我们采取行动。大自然正在忍受折磨。海洋里充满了塑料并日益酸化。极端高温、野火、洪水和飓风影响了数以百万计的民众。"

"Even these days, we are still trying to get back on track from COVID-19, a worldwide health pandemic linked to the health of our ecosystem.

现在，我们仍在努力从2019冠状病毒病造成的影响回到正轨，这场全球大流行病与生态系统的健康密切相关。"

"Climate change, man-made changes to nature as well as crimes that disrupt biodiversity, such as deforestation, land-use change, intensified agriculture and livestock production or the growing illegal wildlife trade, can accelerate the speed of destruction of the planet.

气候变化，改变自然的人类行为，以及破坏生物多样性的种种“罪行”，如毁林、土地使用变化、集约化农业和畜牧业生产、日益严重的野生动植物非法贸易等等，都会加速毁灭地球。"

"Ecosystems support all life on Earth. The healthier our ecosystems are, the healthier the planet - and its people. Restoring our damaged ecosystems will help to end poverty, combat climate change and prevent mass extinction. But we will only succeed if everyone plays a part.

生态系统为地球上的所有的生命提供支持。我们的生态系统越健康，地球及其人民就越健康。恢复我们受损的生态系统将有助于消除贫困，应对气候变化并防止大规模的物种灭绝。但是，只有每个人都参与其中，我们才会成功。"
