美高艺术月丨Artist month 走进美高艺术馆，与大师对“画”

五月，苏州美高幼儿园掀起了一股艺术风潮。
在美高幼儿园极具设计感的美术教室，可以看到墙上有两幅画，是米菲的创造者布鲁纳先生受到两位大师，蒙德里安和马蒂斯启蒙的作品。
在这里，可以看到抽象派和野兽派和米菲作品的融合，孩子可以拜世界级艺术家为师。
与大师对“画”，美高宝宝们和米菲在一个月的时间里，走进了艺术大师们的创作世界，感受艺术的魅力。
他们亲手将美高幼儿园装扮成了一个充满艺术气息的美术馆。

蒙德里安先生是20世纪初荷兰的一位抽象艺术家，被认为是现代抽象艺术的重要代表之一。他以几何形状和纯净的色块来创作作品，强调平衡、节奏和对称。蒙德里安的艺术作品对后来的艺术运动和设计产生了深远的影响。
美高宝宝们与蒙德里安的抽象世界相遇。

In May, there was an art trend at LWS Kindergarten.
In LWS Kindergarten's highly designed art room, you can see two paintings on the wall, Miffy's creator Mr. Bruna was inspired by two masters, Mondrian and Matisse.

Mr. Mondrian was a Dutch abstract artist of the early 20th century and is considered one of the key representatives of modern abstract art. He created works with geometric shapes and pure blocks of colour, emphasising balance, rhythm and symmetry. Mondrian's artwork had a profound influence on later art movements and design.
The LWS babies met with the abstract world of Mondrian.
They learnt about the clean, geometric lines and blocks of colour in Mondrian's work. The children drew straight lines, chose pure colours to fill them in and let their creativity run wild as they created their own abstract works.
Matisse was a famous French painter, sculptor, printmaker, founder and leading exponent of the Fauvist school. Famous for his use of vivid, bold colours, his passion for painting was unleashed by an accident at the age of 21, and chance became a turning point in his life. In his own words, "It was as if I had been summoned, and from then on I no longer dominated my life, but it dominated me."
The LWS babies entered the world of the brilliantly colourful Matisse. They immersed themselves in the vibrant colours and exaggerated forms of Matisse's work and learnt how to express their inner emotions with vibrant colours. They waved their brushes and put their inner joy, dreams and imagination onto the canvas.
Yayoi Kusama was born in Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan, and graduated from Matsumoto Girls' School in Nagano. She moved to New York City in 1956 and began to exhibit her leading avant-garde art, and now lives in Tokyo, Japan.
Yayoi Kusama's work is full of fantasy and the LWS babies found endless scope for imagination in her art world. They decorated the canvas with colourful dots, as if they were in Yayoi Kusama's infinite wonderland. Each dot represents the unique ideas and personalities of the children.
Andy Warhol is regarded as one of the most famous figures in 20th century art, an advocate and leader of Pop Art and the artist who has had the greatest influence on it.
Andy Warhol's works show real-life stars and pop culture symbols. The children imitated Warhol's style by creating their own series of stars with bright colours and repetitive images. They excitedly display their work as if they have become stars in art.
During Art Month, children not only learn about the styles of these great artists' work, but more importantly, develop a love of art and creativity.
They will thrive in this hotbed of creativity and become future artists and bearers of culture.
