ASJ (Dongguan)

ASJ (Dongguan) focuses on academic excellence and achieving holistic and diversified development. The school provides students with various electives/co-curricular activities throughout the academic year. From sports teams and clubs to cultural and artistic pursuits, students are encouraged to actively participate in extracurricular activities that foster personal growth, teamwork and a deeper appreciation of global perspectives.

在培养学生的过程中，东莞ASJ不仅注重学术培优和夯实基础课程，还注重培养学生实现全面、多元的发展。在整个学年中，学校为学生提供各式各样的课外兴趣班/联课活动，从运动校队、俱乐部到文化类以及艺术追求，学生们积极参加课外活动，促进个人成长、培养团队合作能力以及全球视野。

Sports are a great way to build physical strength and stamina. ASJ (Dongguan) offers a wide range of sports, including Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Tennis, Taekwondo, Golf, Netball, Rugby, Skateboarding, Frisbee and many more. Through professional coaching, students learn to work with their teammates, understand the rules and learn to win through hard work. We hope that every student will find a sport they love for life.

Science & Technology

The popular DJI RoboMaster, MakerSpace, Videography, STEM, Photography and Science Club allow students to have fun with science while producing their creations.

For example, in the school's MakerSpace classroom, students can use various tools and materials to create their products using their skills. The most beneficial aspect of MakerSpace is that it promotes learning by doing, which is an extremely effective method of assimilating new ideas and concepts. Additionally, it cultivates problem-solving skills and encourages individuals to devise their own solutions, a crucial skill in numerous fields.

备受学生欢迎的大疆机甲大师、创客空间、摄像、STEM、摄影和科学俱乐部等课外课程允许学生在创作自己作品的同时享受科技带来的乐趣。

The DJI RoboMaster class helps to foster programming skills which leads to better problem-solving abilities, increased career opportunities, and the ability to create innovative solutions to real-world problems.

The Videography and Photography Club offers students the chance to hone their skills in capturing stunning visuals and conveying compelling stories through the lens, while the Science Club provides a platform for exploring and experimenting with different scientific concepts. These diverse opportunities afford students the chance to discover their passions and develop their skills in a fun and engaging way.

ASJ (Dongguan)'s arts electives cultivate students' aesthetics, inspire students' creativity in learning, and improve students' art performance. The courses emphasise personality and fun, integrating interests and imagination to cultivate students' observation and enhance their desire to express and inspire creativity. The school also provides a variety of platforms for students to showcase their talents.

Literature & Language

文学与语言类

As an international school dedicated to developing biliteral and trilingual elites (able to write in Chinese and English and speak in Mandarin, Cantonese and English). ASJ (Dongguan) places great emphasis on providing a multilingual environment to develop students' interest in languages. In addition to learning traditional Chinese culture, the school also offers interest courses such as English, French, Calligraphy, Reading Club and Debate Club to strengthen students' use of different languages in terms of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
