In order to thoroughly implement President XI's important instructions to actively promote exchanges among young people from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, enhancing sense of national identity, Ms. Guangyan LONG, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and her delegation came to Dongguan on July 5th to conduct relevant research. 

The research team visited Dongguan Jianhui Paper Co., Ltd. and the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong & Macao Students (Dongguan), and held a seminar with relevant departments of Dongguan City.

为深入贯彻落实习近平总书记视察广东的重要讲话、重要指示精神，积极推动粤港澳青少年交流工作，不断增强港澳青少年对祖国的认同感与向心力，7月5日，省港澳办龙广艳副主任一行来莞开展专题调研，走访港资企业东莞建晖纸业有限公司，参观东莞暨大港澳子弟学校，并与我市相关部门进行座谈。省港澳办二级巡视员夏方明参与调研座谈，市委台港澳办王柏桃副主任、周懿三级调研员陪同调研。

During the visit to our school, Deputy Director Long and her delegation toured the campus with great interest and listened to the introduction of the school's basic situation, development, teaching philosophy, curriculum and other related information. She said that the school has a beautiful teaching environment, excellent facilities, advanced teaching philosophy and a progressive team of teachers and that it should always practice the idea of student-oriented development and provide holistic education, integrate patriotic education and excellent traditional Chinese culture into the process of educating students, and further enhance the cultural identity and national identity of Hong Kong and Macao students.

在东莞暨大港澳子弟学校，龙广艳副主任一行饶有兴致地参观了校园，听取学校基本情况、发展定位、办学理念、课程体系等有关情况介绍。她表示，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校有优美的教学环境、优越的硬件设备、先进的教学理念、优秀的教师团队，要始终践行以人民为中心发展思想，继续实践全人教育理念，把爱国主义教育、中华优秀传统文化传承融入学校育人全过程，进一步增进港澳学生的文化认同、民族认同、国家认同，厚植爱国爱港爱澳的家国情怀，不断增强做中国人的志气、骨气、底气。

At the discussion, Deputy Director Long listened to the city's practices in promoting youth exchanges among Dongguan, Hong Kong and Macao, and gave full recognition to them. 

She hoped that Dongguan would take the lead in the province in promoting Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao youth exchanges through innovative methods, creating brands and gaining experience, and make more contributions to attracting more young people from Hong Kong and Macao to Guangdong for internships, employment and entrepreneurship, and join hands with them to contribute to the development of the Greater Bay Area.

在随后举行的座谈会上，龙广艳副主任认真细致地听取了我市推动莞港澳青少年交流的做法，并给予充分肯定，希望东莞创新方法、创建品牌、创造经验，在促进粤港澳青少年交流方面走在全省前列，为吸引更多港澳青年来粤实习就业创业、携手更多港澳同胞融入粤港澳大湾区作出新的更大贡献。
