This is the program designed for native or near native Chinese speakers. At this stage reading and writing skills are strengthened. Extensive reading materials are available for students. Students are expected to develop proficiency and ability to write essays. Students are exposed to Chinese language, culture and traditions through authentic texts.

这个课程是为母语为中文或中文水平接近母语的学生设置的。在这一级别，着重加强学生们的阅读和写作能力。我们为学生提供广泛的阅读材料，希望能够提高学生写作的熟练程度和能力。学生通过中国的文学作品及文字资料接触中国的语言、文化和传统。

이 프로그램은 중국어 원어민 또는 원어민 수준의 중국어 능력을 가진 학생들을 위해 설계된 프로그램입니다. 이 단계에서는 읽기 및 쓰기 능력이 강화됩니다. 학생들을 위해 광범위한 독서 자료를 이용할 수 있습니다. 학생들은 생활 중의 중국어  작품이나 문자 자료를 통해 중국어, 문화, 전통에 접촉합니다.

Chinese for Non-Native Speakers

中文非母语水平课程

비모어 수준 프로그램

This is the program designed for students who are not native speakers. According to students' Chinese knowledge, there may be one or two classes for non-native speakers.

For one of these classes, students will be exposed to the phonetic symbols and tones from the very beginning. Students are expected to acquire good pronunciation and intonation of Mandarin with on-going reinforcement of Pinyin practice. In order to establish a solid foundation for character learning, the primary focus for beginners is the teaching of radical, character writing and character formation. Simple and independent characters are introduced to students. Most importantly, this class emphasizes listening and speaking skills. Students are expected to use Chinese for their daily life conversation by the end of this class.

For the other classes, students are provided with various speaking opportunities to use Chinese in real situations. More vocabulary, grammar and sentence structures are reinforced. Students’ learning skills are expected to extend to become independent learners of Chinese. Writing skills are reinforced and the tasks usually follow a reading text as a model for the students’ own reproduction of Chinese. Students are provided more reading materials to practice and enhance their reading skills.

这是为中文水平为非母语的学生设置的课程。根据学生的中文水平，非母语级别的课程将再分设一到两个班。 

其中一个班级，学生从一开始就接触到音标和声调。通过不断加强拼音练习，学生掌握良好的普通话发音和音调。为了给汉字学习打下坚实的基础，我们向初学者重点教授偏旁部首、汉字书写和组词。这一班级最重要的是，强调听和说的能力。学生在本阶段结束时能使用中文进行日常对话。

在另一个班级，我们为学生提供了各种在真实情境中使用汉语的机会。学生对中文词汇、语法和句子结构的掌握得到强化。学生有望成长为独立的中文学习者。并且在这里学生通过阅读范文，提升写作能力。教师也会向学生提供更多的阅读材料来提高他们的阅读能力。

이 수업은 원어민 수준이 아닌 학생들을 위해 만들어진 프로그램입니다. 학생들 가진 중국어 지식에 따라 원어민이 아닌 학생들을 위한 한/두 개의 수업이 더 설정하고 있습니다.

이 프로그램 중 하나는, 학생들은 처음부터 음성 기호와 음조에 접촉할 것입니다. 학생들은 계속해서 병음 연습을 강화함으로써 중국어의 좋은 발음과 억양을 습득할 것으로 기대됩니다. 초심자가 중점적으로 가르치는 것은 편 방 부수, 한자 필기와 조어입니다. 가장 중요한 것은, 이 수업은 듣기와 말하기 기술을 강조합니다. 학생들은 이 수업이 끝날 때까지 일상 회화를 위해 중국어를 사용할 것으로 예상됩니다.

또 하나의 수업는 학생들이 실제 상황에서 중국어를 사용할 수 있는 다양한 말하기 기회를 제공합니다. 더 많은 어휘, 문법, 문장 구조가 강화됩니다. 학생들 독립적인 학습자가 될 수 있게 예상됩니다. 범문 읽기를 통해 학생들의 글쓰기 능력을 향상합니다. 그리고 학생들은 읽기 능력을 향상하기 위해 더 많은 읽기 자료를 제공합니다.

Chinese Literature (for US Native Speakers)

中国文学课程（针对母语为中文的中学学生）

The Chinese Literature course introduces students to the analysis of Chinese literary texts. Students will have 4 cycles of comprehensive exploration of literature from a variety of literary forms and periods. As they learn to appreciate the artistry of literature, students get to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture and develop the ability to reflect critically on their reading, presenting literary analysis powerfully through both oral and written communication.

中国文学课程是带着学生进行中国文学分析。学生将在4个周期的时间里对中国的各种文学形式和时期的作品进行全面探索。在学习欣赏文学艺术的过程中，可以加深对中国文化的理解，培养批判性思维的能力，通过交流有力地展示学生们文学分析的能力。

중국 문학 수업은 학생들은 중국 문학 분석을 진행합니다. 학생들은 4쿼터 동안 다양한 문학의 형식과 시기의 작품을 전반적으로 탐구하게 됩니다. 문학의 예술성을 감상하는 법을 배우면서 학생들은 중국 문화에 대한 이해를 깊게 하고 비판적 사고력을 기르며, 소통을 통해 문학 분석 능력을 전시합니다.

Chinese Culture (for US Native Speakers)

Chinese Culture is a full-year course that introduces students to varied aspects of Chinese classic culture such as Chinese historiography, art, philosophy and spiritual ethos. Throughout the course, students get to develop awareness of self-identity and appreciation of more elements of native culture. What’s more, Chinese language skills are acquired and enhanced in the process of exploring historical Chinese culture.

中国文化是一门需要学习一个学年的课程，本课程向学生介绍中国历史文化的各个方面，如中国的历史学、艺术、哲学。在这个课程中，学生可以培养自我认同感和对中国本土多元文化的欣赏能力。更重要的是，在探索中国历史文化的过程中，学生的中文水平得到了提高。

중국 문화 수업은 학생들에게 중국 역사, 예술, 철학 등 중국 역사 문화의 다양한 측면을 소개하는 1년 내내 진행되는 과정입니다. 이 수업을 통해 학생들은 자아 정체성과 토종 다문화에 대한 감상을 기를 수 있습니다. 게다가, 중국 역사 문화를 탐구하는 과정에서 중국어 능력이 습득되고 향상됩니다.

AP Chinese Language and Culture (for HS Students)*

This course consists of two essential aspects: Chinese language and Chinese culture. Because language and culture are so closely intertwined, culture is acquired in the process of learning a language, and language is learned when studying culture. As such, students should try to absorb as much Chinese culture as possible while learning the language. Developing students’ awareness and appreciation of the elements of the culture of Chinese-speaking people is a pervasive theme throughout the AP Chinese language and Culture course. Throughout the course, students also develop necessary knowledge of the Chinese language, including pronunciation, vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, grammatical structures, and written characters.

该课程包括两个方面:中国语言和中国文化。由于语言和文化紧密相连，文化是在学习语言的过程中获得的，而语言是在学习文化的过程中获得的。因此，学生在学习语言的同时，应尽可能多地学习和了解中国文化。培养学生对中华民族文化的认识和欣赏，是贯穿AP中国语言文化课程的一个普遍主题。在整个课程体系中，学生还学习了必要的中文知识，包括发音、词汇、成语表达、语法结构和书面文字。

본 수업은 두 가지 주요 측면으로 구성됩니다: 중국 언어와 중국 문화입니다. 언어와 문화가 워낙 밀접하게 얽혀 있기 때문에 언어를 배우는 과정에서 문화가 습득되고, 문화를 공부할 때 언어가 습득됩니다. 따라서, 학생들은 중국어를 배우는 동안 가능한 한 많은 중국 문화를 공부하려고 노력해야 합니다. 학생들에게 중화민족 문화에 대한 이해와 감상을 심어주는 것은 AP 중국의 언어와 문화 수업을 관통하는 하나의 주제입니다. 과정 내내, 학생들은 또한 발음, 어휘, 관용 표현, 문법 구조, 그리고 글자를 포함한 중국어에 대한 필요한 지식을 개발합니다.
