教学与学术副校长丰老师特意为新生做了温馨讲话，提出几点希冀，希望新生尽快学会适应。当然提高英语水平，展现更佳的学术表现也是根本，与此同时积极准备和参加适合自己的竞赛项目和各种拓展活动。在高中阶段要明确自己要做什么，怎么做，如何培养自己的独立学习和独立思考能力，发现自己的兴趣所在，全面发展，平衡好自己的时间。全人教育&教学副校长范老师与全人教育主管张老师展示了莱克顿的校园文化，向新生介绍学校的传统活动，如学院制度，并介绍各种校园活动，如运动、艺术和志愿活动。这样，新生就可以更好地了解他们的新家。升学指导仇老师为大家介绍了最新的大学升学的变化，并告诉刚踏入高中校园的新生们过早不早，充分的准备才能迎来更顺畅的冲刺阶段。

The Deputy Head Academics, Mr. Feng, gave a warm speech to the new students, offering a few wishes for them to learn to adapt as soon as possible. In high school, you should be clear about what you want to do and how to do it, how to develop your independent learning and thinking skills, discover your interests, and balance your time well. Mr. Fan, Deputy Head Holistic Education and T&L, and Mr. Zhang, Head of Holistic Education, demonstrated the traditions of the school, such as the house system, and introducing various school activities, such as sports, arts and volunteer activities. Ms. Qiu, the Head of University Guidance, gave an update on the changes of applications in college.

正式开学当天，所有师生齐整如一满坐剧院，校长再次向新生与新加入莱克顿的老师表示欢迎致辞，恭祝大家兔年吉祥。学校为帮助大家更快建立莱克顿人间的友谊和信任关系，以晨星、骑士、赤狐、雄狮学院分为四支队伍开展了一系列破冰游戏，用欢愉的游戏方式让学生们相互合作，增强团队合作精神，展示自己的才华和特长，对未来的学习和生活皆有所裨益。

On Monday, during the Assembly, the Headmaster once again gave a welcome speech to the new students and teachers who had joined Lucton in front of the whole school members, wishing everyone a happy year of the Rabbit. Meanwhile, in order to help the students build up friendship and trust, students were devided into four houses: Star, Knight, Fox and Lion, and played a series of games.

活动前夕，各学院队伍互相介绍成员，认识彼此并选出各游戏的参与者，还拍摄了集体合照，抚掌欢笑，间隙渐消，也许孩子们的友谊就这么轻松建立。通过传气球与顺序翻牌游戏，大家有机会了解其他新生，“谁是卧底”帮助大家增强观察力，以及“后背传字”“你画我猜”等一系列特定的互动游戏游戏，培养了彼此的感情，同时帮助新生消除紧张和害羞，放松心情，更好地适应新环境，互动和合作，提高了团队的合作精神和团队协作能力。

Each house team introduced their members to each other and selected the participants. Through games, everyone had the opportunity to get to know each other. A series of specific interactive games cultivated mutual affection and helped the new students to eliminate nervousness and shyness, relax and better adapt to the new environment, interact and cooperate, and improve the team spirit and teamwork ability.
