The 1st Chinese Culture Festival of Huamei Foreign Language School H.K. Class
金秋九月，碩果累累。同學們在中秋之後終於可以返校上課。經過兩週的學習，同學們在國慶前夕迎來了期盼已久的中華文化藝術節。同學們秉承著「根深中華 面向世界 面向未來」的精神，展示著自身的才華。華美師生在開幕式上不僅展現了中華傳統文化，同時也展現了中華傳統文化與現代文化的融合。
Students can finally return school after a long vacation. The long-expected Chinese Culture Festival has been held eventually. ‘Rooted in China; Blossomed in the World’ is the motto of the school. The 1st Chinese Culture Festival helps us understand more about our own culture.
9月29日下午，中華文化藝術節在劉啟彬校長的致辭中正式開幕。
Principal Lou officiated the Festival on 29th September.
首先由各班同學代表向大家展示了中國傳統服飾，展示了中華傳統服飾文化的多姿多彩。
Representatives of different classes wear traditional Chinese costumes, enhancing our national identity.
接著由小四禮班同學表演了手舞《風》，可愛的同學們用肢體語言演繹著李嶠詩中無形又有形的「風」。
Cute primary four students are performing hand dance.
「弟子規，聖人訓。首孝悌，次謹信。」在小五智班同學們的朗讀聲中，全校師生領略到至聖先師孔子所教導的生活規範——《弟子規》。
Primary five students are singing ‘Discipline Gauge’ of Confucius.
「明月幾時有，把酒問青天」小六禮班的同學們向我們展示了中華傳統文化和流行文化的融合——《明月幾時有》。
Primary six students are reciting our traditional Chinese poem.
「素胚勾勒出青花筆鋒濃轉淡」中三禮班演繹的《青花瓷》展示了如何讓古老的中國傳統文化成為當今的流行文化。
Secondary three students are reciting the poem about porcelain.
最後開幕式在全體教師的《朋友》聲中完滿結束。
All teachers sing together.
晚飯後，學生們在教室裡正襟危坐、嚴肅認真地觀看香港回歸及國慶相關的紀錄片。同學們深刻地了解到香港回歸的困難，以及國家統一的不易。
After dinner, students watch documentary movie, describing the process of how Hong Kong returned to the motherland.
9月30日，學生參加中國傳統文化遊園會。遊園會中有豐富的中國傳統活動。
On 30th September, students take part in meaningful and interesting activities in the garden party.
