If you are an opera singer or you are wishing to work in management of performing arts, do not miss this opportunity! The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is willing to give you the chance to spend a training period in Italy, at prestigious Accademia Teatro alla Scala of Milan. La Scala Academy is one of the world’s premiere institutions for comprehensive professional training in all artistic, technical, and managerial areas of the performing arts. It is attached to Teatro alla Scala in Milan, one of the most renowned opera house in the world.

It means you are finally recognized in Italy, the cradle of opera. It is a test, a very tough one.
On this stage most of Italy's greatest operatic artists, and many of the finest singers from around the world, have appeared, including opera singers Maria Callas, Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti, dancers Carla Fracci and Rudolf Nureyev and great theater directors such as Franco Zeffirelli and Luchino Visconti.

After months of shutdown, La Scala will resume its performances with a concert by the Wiener Philarmoniker conducted by maestro Riccardo Muti on May 11th. A highly symbolic date: on the same day in 1946 La Scala celebrated the end of the Second World War with a concert conducted by Arturo Toscanini.
On both occasions a concert as a sign of hope and recovery.
