与莱克顿重逢山城 | 传承与创新

2021年9月10日，莱克顿集团与中冶置业重庆公司共同举办的“传承与创新” ——中冶置业重庆公司-莱克顿战略合作签约仪式暨重庆莱克顿品牌发布会，在重庆新地标美利亚酒店国际会议中心隆重举行。这一里程碑式的时刻，标志着莱克顿继进入中国扎根上海后，又开启了第二篇章。

On 10th September, the “Inheritage and Innovation” – MCC and Lucton Strategic Partnership Signing Ceremony and Lucton Chongqing Launch Event were jointly organised by Lucton Group and MCC Real Estate Chongqing Co., Ltd. The event was grandly held at Meliá Chongqing, a new landmark in Tieshanping, Chongqing. Lucton, the century-old education brand from the United Kingdom will open its second chapter in China since Lucton Shanghai.

当日，重庆市江北区领导，江北区教委、招商投促局、文旅委、公园管理中心、铁山坪街道等部门出席了签约仪式。英国驻重庆总领事Stephen Ellison、中冶置业重庆公司相关领导、莱克顿集团、英国文化教育协会考试部西南区考试业务总监李永明、上海莱克顿校长Clem Parrish及重庆市各家主流媒体，以及对国际化教育有浓厚兴趣的学生家长等各界嘉宾参加活动，共同见证具有310余年历史的杰出英国教育品牌莱克顿落户山城重庆的这一重要时刻。

Leaders of Jiangbei District, Jiangbei District Edu Commission, Investment Promotion Bureau, Culture and Tourism Development Commission, Park Management Centre, Tieshanping Street Office witnessed the signing ceremony. Stephen Ellison, British Consul General in Chongqing, leaders of MCC Real Estate Chongqing Co., Ltd, Lucton Group, Mabel Li, Director of Examinations Southwest China, British Council, Clem Parrish Headmaster of Lucton Shanghai, and various mainstream media in Chongqing, as well as families who have strong interest in international education, all participated in the event and witnessed the important moment.

发布会上，英国驻重庆总领事Stephen Ellison、中冶置业重庆公司副总经理王杰、重庆莱克顿理事长羊曦以及上海莱克顿校长Clem Parrish分别致辞，对英国莱克顿落户重庆表示祝贺与期待。随后，莱克顿集团和中冶置业重庆公司签署了战略合作协议，并宣布莱克顿品牌在重庆正式发布。

Stephen Ellison, Jie Wang, as the Deputy General Manager of MCC Real Estate Chongqing, Steven Yang, as the Chairman of Governors of Lucton Chongqing and Clem Parrish, addressed the conference respectively. Then, Lucton Group and MCC Real Estate Chongqing Co., Ltd. signed strategic cooperation agreement, and meanwhile announced the official launch of Lucton Chongqing.

百年名校落户山城，汇聚顶级资源

重庆莱克顿坐落于风景宜人的重庆铁山坪国家森林公园内，将于2022年9月正式开放，是继莱克顿于上海办学后，在中国另一城市开办的新校。秉持着“延续英国传统、秉持中国初心、拓宽国际视野”的思想，重庆莱克顿将以全人教育为理念，采用中西融合的教学方法和教学理念，致力于发掘每一位学生独特的天赋和潜能，帮助他们成为最好的自己。

与此同时，重庆莱克顿将加入英国文化教育协会全球伙伴学校联盟计划（British Council Partner Schools）。英国文化教育协会是英国提供教育机会与促进文化交流的国际机构，未来，重庆莱克顿的学生和老师都将享受英国文化教育协会所带来的全球资源和学术支持。

重庆莱克顿将沿用上海莱克顿学校所打造的课程体系，以IGCSE和A Level为学术课程，配备内容丰富的拓展课程、竞赛和活动，包括20余项体育运动、戏剧、艺术与音乐及STEAM，以及基于国际会议中心延展的国际化教育赛事、论坛等活动，真正践行全人教育。

Lucton Chongqing is located in the scenic Tieshanping National Forest Park, and will officially open in September 2022. The School will adhere to Lucton ethos of “British tradition, Chinese heart and international minds”, implement Lucton’s proven system of teaching and rounded development, and enlighten the future paths of students. Meanwhile, Lucton Chongqing will join the British Council Partner Schools Programme, and provide IGCSE and A Level curriculum, abundant academic competitions and co-curricular activities, including over twenty kinds of sports, drama, art, music and STEAM, and the international education competitons, forums and other activities based on the International Conference Centre, truly delivering holistic education. Students and teachers of Lucton will enjoy the global resources and academic support brought by BC in the future.

Lucton has delivered over 300 years of success in the UK, and has been extending this heritage to China. As the first overseas campus of Lucton School from the UK, Lucton School Shanghai achieved the excellent outcomes after three years’ dedication, and are having the first cohort of graduating students this year.

To date, Lucton team has brought best educational resources of Lucton UK and successful experience of Lucton Shanghai to Chongqing after two years of preparation, marking a new milestone of Lucton’s international development.
