We discussed how to build a house and how each part of the house is important (e.g. floor, walls and roof).

Based on their previous knowledge and life experiences, we facilitate an inquiry-based learning approach.

Using the different lines of inquiry, we discovered more vocabulary and sentence structures to express what they wanted to share about relationships, the importance of relationships, and the various responsibilities we have.

By sorting out the different types of relationships, such as family, friends, schools and communities, we can better organize our line of thinking. Such as the responsibilities we have in school, at home or within our community.

Deepening our understanding of relationships, for example, making friends with our peers, those younger and older than us. Thus linking to our taking action.

These activities cement the idea that relationships are around us at all times and influence our daily lives.

For a deeper understanding of responsibilities and relationships, we read the book “Grass-hopper and Ants”. Children are able to implement strategies learned to use in their lives.

我们通过行动加深对人与人之间关系的理解。我们体验和不同年龄的人交朋友，不管是比我们年龄小的弟弟妹妹，还是比我们年长的叔叔阿姨、爷爷奶奶。

Taking Action

As we spent time with K1, we built new relationships with the concepts and understanding we had attained over the course of the United of Inquiry.

In addition, we helped to understand the importance of relationships through book creation of our responsibilities as well as making a “Responsibility Book” ourselves.
