During the past two weeks, we have been very happy to welcome the little munchkins back to school and are very pleased to see they have easily adjusted to campus life.

时间过得飞快，一转眼开学便过去了两周。两周前，我们迎来了小朋友们的回归，并且为他们能快速地、平和地适应校园生活而倍感欣慰。

Thanks to the efforts of all our staff, we have submitted all the relevant documents to the IBO, including the school development plan, presentation of learning outcomes, school policies such as language, integration, and home-school communication, etc., which the IBO highly recognized. 

BKIK will continue to work hard to meet the IBO's implementation and inspection on the review day and strive to become an excellent IB school in China and the world.

天启幼儿园将新迎来5年一度的IB年检，在全校所有同事的努力下，我园在IB年检的预审资料审核环节中依据官方的指引，已经向IB组织提交了相关的文件，包括学校发展计划、学习成果的呈现、学校策政如语言、融合、家校沟通等，全部得到IB组织的高度认可。

我园将继续努力，在年检日迎接IBO（国际文凭组织）对执行及实务性工作的检验。

我们致力成为中国乃至世界优秀的IB学校。

It was with great pleasure (and honour) that we welcomed our parent representatives to the first PTA meeting at BKIK on Thursday morning.

We heard from each of our respective SLT members about their important work and how this relates to the educational experience and journey of the students at the school. We are glad to announce the PTA Name list for the 2022-2023 academic year and want to thank all those who volunteered to join the PTA.

本周四上午，我们召开了本学期的第一次家代会。

在会议上，刘咏欣园长及各个部门负责人向家委们做了自我介绍并汇报了各部门的工作，让家代们了解我们是如何努力为孩子建设一个良好的学习环境、提供优秀的教育服务的。

我们很高兴在此向各位宣布本学年家委会成员名单，感谢你们成为家委会的一员。

In order to further enhance the safety awareness of our teachers and students on the school bus, as well as improve their ability to deal with accidents and engage in self-protection, we held a school bus safety escape drill last Wednesday.

During the drill, the students learned how to protect themselves whilst in danger and how to get off the bus in an orderly and safe manner under the instruction of the teachers.

为了进一步增强我园师生的乘车安全防范意识，提高师生应对意外事故和自我保护的能力，我们于上周三举行了校车安全逃生演练。

在演练过程中，老师教导孩子们在面对突发事件时如何保护自己及如何在老师的指挥下有序、安全地下车。

This Wednesday we had a practice fire drill at BKIK. We used flares to simulate smoke and smell during a real fire and evacuated the students in a calm and collected fashion with their class teachers to the designated assembly points off the BKIK campus.

Headcounts and registers were taken and reported to the SLT after the drill and the students went back to their respective classes.

The fire drill has further enhanced the fire safety awareness of the BKIK teachers and students, as well as improved the knowledge on fire prevention and personal safety.

在本周三，我们组织了全园的消防演练，用信号弹来模拟火灾时的烟雾和气味。在老师们的带领下，学生冷静且快速地撤离到园外的安全集合点。

此次消防演练进一步增强了我园师生消防安全意识，提高自救防范能力，做到在发生火警火灾时，能临危不乱，有序、迅速地按照消防逃生路线安全疏散，确保生命安全。

Lingnan Culture Week will be held on Sept 23 and Sept 26-30 respectively. We have arranged lots of activities for the children to get to know about this important traditional Chinese event.

We will be combining the Lingnan Culture Week with National Day activities. This will be an event for BKIKers at the end of September before the holiday commences.

在九月底，我们将举行一年一度的岭南文化周活动。在9月23日、26日至30日期间，各年级将陆续举行亲子文化活动。

在9月30日（周五）我们将举行游园会，让小朋友们亲身感受岭南传统文化的魅力。
