本期ASJ老师工作坊,带我们走进IB的世界。




Principal Shen Jianjun, a well-known domestic IB education expert, visited the school and conducted professional training on IB for all teachers  Recently.

近日,国内知名IB教育专家沈建军校长参观学校,并为全体教师进行了关于IB的专业培训。

Principal Shen Jianjun

He is currently the chief principal of Changsha Cogdel Cranleigh School and formerly the Phoenix City International School principal in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou City, a subsidiary of Bright Scholar Education Group. At the same time, he is also the exam inspector, PYP project document review officer, training officer and authorized visitor for the DP University Preparatory Program and MYP Middle School Program in the IBO Asia-Pacific region.

现任长沙康礼克雷格学校总校长,曾任原博实乐教育集团旗下广州市增城区凤凰城中英文校校长。同时,他也是IBO亚太地区DP大学预科项目和MYP中学项目的考试巡视官、PYP小学项目文件审核官、培训官和授权访问官。

At the beginning of the lecture, Principal Shen shared his personal experience in education for many years, described how he gradually became a researcher of English teaching and a practitioner of IB, and recalled the difficulties and frustrations he experienced. And how he became a true IB educator from the international education novice through perseverance and painstaking research. He also urged the teachers to stick to the original aspiration of education and continue to work hard on the road of education and teaching, firmly believing that "No one can stop you from going too far on the professional road."


讲座一开始,沈校长跟老师们分享了自己多年来从事教育工作的亲身经历,讲述了自己如何从一线英语教师逐步成为英语教学研究者、国际文凭的践行者,回忆了这其中经历的困难和挫折,自己如何通过坚持不懈,潜心研究,从国际教育小白到现在真正的IB教育者。并殷殷嘱托老师们坚持教育初心,不断在教育教学的道路上努力付出,坚信“没有人能阻止你在专业的道路上走多远”。

Afterwards, President Shen experienced significant changes from the evolution of human beings and the changes in the education of the four industrial revolutions. He discussed with everyone what kind of education is most needed in today's society. Through vivid explanations, the teachers deeply felt that from the development of human beings to the present, all walks of life have been developing rapidly in the form of gravitational acceleration. The most important thing in education is not to impart specific knowledge of exponential multiplication but to critically focus on integrating knowledge and deep-level understanding.  To help students find regularities and commonalities in life and learning, generate learning abilities that can apply to multiple situations, stimulate creativity, new ideas and problem-solving skills, and thus possess the demand for talents in the 21st century.


接着沈校长从人类进化过程经历的重大变革,伴随四次工业革命教育产生的变化,跟大家讨论了当今社会最需要怎样的教育。通过生动的讲解,老师们通过沈校长的精彩讲解,深刻感受到人类从发展至今,各行各业一直以重力加速度的方式迅猛发展,教育最重要的不是传授指数倍增的具体知识,而是应更加专注于整合知识的技能以及深层次的理解,这些帮助学生在生活和学习中发现规律和共性,产生可以运用到多种情境的学习能力,激发创造力,新想法和解决问题的能力,从而具备21世纪对人才的素养需求。

Aiming at "What is the internationalization of education?" and "What is the core literacy?". President Shen mentioned that the internationalization of education refers to using an international perspective to grasp and develop education, the allocation of educational resources internationally, and closer educational exchanges and cooperation between countries. He also pointed out that the "core literacy" we often talk about has specific descriptions in many international organizations and countries. However, they have the same goal by different routes and have a high degree of similarity.


针对“什么是教育国际化?”和“什么是核心素养?”。沈校长提到教育国际化是指用国际视野来把握和发展教育,教育资源在国际间配置,国家之间更加密切地进行教育交流和合作。并指出我们常说的“核心素养”,在很多国际组织和国家中都有自己的具体描述,但是它们殊途同归,具有高度的相似性。

IB is a continuous and unified international education. From kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, high school, and later vocational education, a comprehensive and consistent education system has been gradually established since 1968. IB International Baccalaureate Education has high standards for teachers. IB teachers need to have the ability to create and innovate, understand cognitive processes, have efficient communication and cooperation skills. Teachers also need to have communication technology literacy, regional and global civic literacy, life and Career planning ability, personal and social responsibility, Etc. To equip themselves with the 21st-century international skill requirements.


IB是连续统一的国际教育,从幼儿园、小学、初中、高中再到后来的职业教育,自1968年开始逐渐建立起完善的一贯制教育体系。IB国际文凭教育对教师有着高标准的要求,IB教师需要具备创造和革新的能力,了解认知过程,具有高效的沟通和合作能力、通讯科技素养,拥有地域与全球化的公民素养,人生及职业规划能力,对个人和社会的责任感等等,使自己具备21世纪全球标准技能要求。

After that, Principal Shen gave a detailed introduction to all the IB projects respectively. He demonstrated how to carry out concept-driven teaching in actual teaching with a large number of confirmed cases, and implement student's five primary skills (Research skills, Thinking skills, Communication skills, and Self-management skills), how to practice the inquiry-based teaching method, how to support the child's initiative in learning, stimulate the child's internal drive, and ultimately become a lifelong learner of independent inquiry.


之后,沈校长从对IB所有的项目一一进行了详细的介绍,以大量真实的案例展现了如何在实际教学中展开概念驱动教学,在幼小至高中各阶段落实学生对五大技能(研究技能、思考技能、沟通技能、交流技能和自我管理技能)的学习,怎样实践探究式教学法,如何支持孩子在学习中发挥主动性,激发孩子的内驱力,最终成为独立探究的终身学习者。




Before and after the training, ASJ Principal Feng Yan and Principal Shen had many exchanges on the management of the international school and the implementation of educational concepts and shared some valuable experiences. President Shen highly affirmed our school's mission and discussed the excellent prospects of our school in the future development of international education.

培训前后,ASJ执行校长封岩女士与沈校长对国际学校的管理,教育理念的落地等进行了多次交流,分享了一些宝贵的经验。沈校长对我校的办学宗旨给予高度的肯定,探讨了我校在未来国际教育领域发展中的伟大前景。
