活动现场，每院队派出了2位代表，分别参与中、英文两个语言组的比赛，每组均以“花”和“月”为主题，展开诗词比拼。

For this competition, each AIC house sent 2 representatives, to take part in Chinese and English poetry reading competition. Within each group, students had 2 rounds of poetry reading, all poems were based on "flower" and "moon" as the themes.

同学们不仅妙语连珠地背诵了海量中文诗、词、曲，演绎起意境优美的英文诗时，更是朗朗上口。参赛者们深厚的文学素养获得了Caroline、Thomas和Water三位评委老师一致赞赏。

At the event, our students not only recited many Chinese traditional poems with witty remarks, and many well-delivered beautiful English poems. The contestants' skills were unanimously praised by event judges comprised from Chinese and English departments, Caroline, Thomas and Water.

英文组比赛由Irene夺魁，中文组则由Essie和Joey同学成绩双双位列榜首。

At the end, Irene won the English competition while Essie and Joey both ranked first in Chinese poetry reading category.

我校中国文化协调员Caroline 老师希望通过组织此次活动，让大家保持对经典文学作品的热爱，珍视并传承中华文化。

Through organizing this event, Caroline, our Chinese Culture Coordinator, hoped students maintain their love for Chinese literature and value their heritage and elements of the Chinese culture. 

中华文化嘉年华在中式花园户外区域举行，班主任与同学们精心策划筹备，他们带来了地道美食、趣味活动、精品义卖和文化知识竞答等丰富的展位活动，各班展位前都围满了师生。

The Chinese Cultural Carnival was held by the Chinese Garden. With homeroom teachers and their students’ well-prepared, all booths attracted students and teachers. They enjoyed the authentic food, fun games, boutique charity sale and prize-winning culture knowledge contest games.
