In the digital age, the Internet can basically satisfy people's curiosity, but this form of exploration is passive and not active . However, ISA Tianhe has always practiced IB inquiry-based teaching and strives to provide students with diversified inquiry activities, where they actively engage in exploration. We held October Fun Day with the theme of Into the Unknown Rainforests for students and parents to explore the tropical rainforests.

数字化时代下，探索的形式逐渐变得单一，

在金秋十月，我们举办了十“纷”趣味日，

探索不分季节的热带雨林。

The Secret of Rainforests

揭秘热带雨林

According to the main distribution areas of rainforests, we divided the event site into four major areas, namely America, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Madagascar. Different game booths are set up in different areas, such as forest puzzles, paintings, rainforest quiz and so on. Students and parents played various games, knowing more knowledge about tropical rainforests in the games, and learning through play.

在本次十“纷”趣味日活动中，我们根据热带雨林的主要分布地区将活动现场分为四大区域，分别是热带美洲、非洲、东南亚、马达加斯加。不同区域设置了不同的游戏展位，如森林拼图、绘画、雨林知识问答等。学生们带上“护照”到各个热带雨林玩游戏集章，在游戏中探索更多关于热带雨林的知识，寓学于乐。

From slithering anacondas to fluttering blue morpho butterflies, rainforests teem with life. In fact, these precious ecosystems are home to 80 percent of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. On the day of the event, students and parents dressed up according to the theme. Some of them dressed up as dinosaurs, birds, frogs, etc. which made them look like a part of the rainforest ecosystem and know about different animals in the rainforests.

从爬行的水蟒到飘动的蓝斑蝶，热带雨林中充满了生命。其珍贵的生态系统是世界80%陆地生物多样性的家园。活动当天，学生和家长们根据主题进行了精心打扮，化身成为恐龙、鸟儿、青蛙等。他们也变成了热带雨林生态系统的一份子，进行沉浸式探索。

We set up painting area for students in the event. Children used watercolor to paint the rainforests according to their imagination, which are colorful. Many people assume that rainforests are full of greenery. But in fact, when you look down at the rainforest from the sky, you will find that there are some red areas, which are not flowers, but the red new leaves. These are the new lives of rainforests.

在十纷趣味日现场，我们设置了绘画区。孩子们根据自己的认知，用水彩绘画出了他们眼中的热带雨林，色彩缤纷。许多人眼中的热带雨林或许都是绿意盎然，鲜有五颜六色。但其实不论什么时候，从空中俯看雨林。在茫茫绿海中，你会发现星点红色在闪灼，而那并不是花朵，而是红色的嫩叶，这是雨林的又一轮萌生。
